Seen many power station videos on TH-cam. This is probably my favorite setup and mirrors my thoughts on what I wanted. Great video and thanks for sharing.
Very nice setup I was thinking of a slightly different configuration that I wanted your opinion on. For those grid down conditions, building several battery boxes (12v & 120v in each box?) and a single charging box with charger and mppt in it. Then in grid down, locate 1 or more power boxes in house to power devices like fridge. As power boxes run down, swap for another power box (like propane bottles on a generator), and recharge the power box with the charger box by either solar, generator or somewhere the grid is up. Thinking of ease, cost and safety for those not comfortable around electricity.
Hello! Nice job on your build! Quick question, what is the benefit to using a charger/converter over a traditional lifepo4 battery charger? Does the converter power the 12 volt accessories while plugged into shore power so there is no drain on the battery during times that it is plugged in? Thanks in advance , Jason
@@LXRACR ye thatt is exaxtly what it does. i decided to remove the charger in my unit and made space for another battery in parallel. i charge with a regular battery charger if i need to but use the solar 90 percent of the time

that would certianly work. removing the charger from the batery box frees up space for inverter or an extra battery.
