I have been owning the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro for over a year now. Amazing watch in all aspects apart from an inconsistent and inaccurate HR monitor. It was a nerve wrecking situation. End of last March there was a partial firmware update which seems to have fixed the inconsistency but accuracy is still questionable - I have no means of checking it, though. However, even though the GPS accuracy was literally all over the place, a targeted update June 22, had an amazing improvement. GPS has since been as accurate as a Garmin would ever be and I have no doubt that Falcon's GPS will soon get an equally accurate update. As far as the Zepp is concerned, I have never had any issues with lagging or whatever. In fact, both the smartwatch and the app have been very stable and fluid since the beginning.

That's really great feedback Meni Fo! Thanks so much for posting this. I've had pretty good luck with the Zepp app also. I just recently noticed a few sections not loading and figured I'd mention it so people are aware that it isn't perfect. Thanks again!

Nice work! Tough to pinpoint an exact competitor for this watch. The name makes me laugh!
Last night I was riding the local climb, trying to keep HR right around 140 and I thought I was doing such a good job. Thought I would be able to show it to Evan and say "look at how incredible I am!?" Got home, looked at the data....bit less straight line than I wanted it to be!!! He and I constantly send metrics back and forth (his are always higher/more impressive!)

i love the design, one of best. But the lack accuracy of the sensor & gps tracker is totally deal breaker for me. The inaccuracy of the sensor could be because the size and the weight so it kinda wobble more than other watch when we do some activity. The inaccuracy of the GPS could be because the design of the titanium almost fully wrapped from the back to side of the watch. AFAIK gps signal easily blocked by metal material.

The fact that's nog accurate with the sensors like the Hartrate and GPS means it's not super reliable as an sportwatch. The Garmin Epix 2 Sapphire is here only 200 euro more expensive. And an Garmin 965 similar priced but has a different form factor and less smart features.

I think that Garmin Forerunner 265 would be a much better option. Yes all plastic, doesn't look that cool and tactic, but 100% more reliable, especially when it comes to HRM and GPS. People thinks we pay for Garmin brand mostly but this is not true. We pay for years of development, years of engineering and this is where reliability comes from. Not from the name or logo!

I went from a Garmin fenix 3hr to Amazfit T Rex Pro and my biggest disappointment was there not being multi sport activities on it. Nor the ability to add them. With all the worthless activities on the watch I couldn't believe this. There is also no way to make custom activities like you can with Garmin Connect. Poor GPS accuracy and HR tracking are not minor issues for a sport watch. Why would you spend USD500 on a watch with such big shortcomings?
I had an Amazfit Stratos for a while. Hugely disappointed. Poor accuracy, and many of the features were poorly thought through for training (e.g. the lap modes for running, and the poor recording of lap-based pool swims).
Now using a Coros and it is a much superior watch, and still a significant saving to an equivalent Garmin.

Wirklich schade.
