The worst part about playing JQ for me, is when youre doing well
The whole team will swap to your hard counters, and you just cant do anything. The times I'll get a 4k, or win some 1v2s, the team comes back with Zarya, sym, mei, ana, kiriko.
Feels like on other tanks, when the whole team swaps to counter you its still playable, just hard. On JQ, you just get rolled. I get that heros need counters, but jq feels like she bites the dust harder than most
As a JunkerQueen main , she is super fun , and most people I feel like dont expect a JQ tank so it is even better

I play tank and junkerqueen is so easy to counter her specially with mei or sym or zarya, but its really fun to play with it she is so strong in close fights

With my experience Junkerqueen with Mei is really good, with Mei able to slow them down you can get easy axe swings that will end up doing a good amount of dmg to screw lower hp targets. With knife pull them in to allow Mei to slow them them it is huge! Just issue would be HP unlike other heroes, which got to play objects to assure survivability vs a full team until they get lower in numbers. She is so underrated and if used right can be deadly
JQ is by far the most fun tank, I feel like she needs just a slight buff still though.

@@MaxiTimmi her health is definitely dreadful, a widow can almost 1 tap her, which is not okay for a tank.
Other than that, I feel they should get rid of the windup on her ult, it basically makes her a sitting duck and considering her ult can be suzu'd or immortality fielded and completely negated, it just makes no sense to have that tradeoff for her ult.
@@LotharinCW imo jq doesnt need buffs, the characters that tanks in general are weak to just need nerfs. Widow having the ability to almost 2 tap every tank in the game is just absurd since tanks are supposed to be like mini raid bosses. I agree that suzu is too strong but lamp is more of an anti 1v5 ability since it can easily be destroyed if your team follows up and does something.
Junker queen formula, if h = b, and b is the amount of bleed damage, and h is the amount of time in a fight, then bleed damage lets you stay in the fight

That's the one thing Blizzard got right with JQ -- she's just downright fun.
But man, she needs a lot of resources to be successful. They gotta bump up her health pool and increase her self healing because most times it feels like you're dealing 100 damage but you get 5HP back per action. There is some tech with her knife that you can do to get more bleed and heals but even if you know the ins and outs of her abilities, she still gets outclassed by someone like Roadhog.
Also they need to make it so that as you activate Shout, it needs to go on cooldown same time. For that to be her only damage mitigating ability and it's what, 12 - 14 seconds to come back but Roadhog can self heal almost to full in 8 seconds is ridiculous. Shout should be 10 seconds at least.
Thing is shout generates a lot of team utility by giving a speed boost and overhealth, both things that are quite hard to come by. It feels somewhat weak from JQ's perspective but if they were to buff it she would go right back to being downright OP in OWL (not that anyone cares that much about OWL but still). I think base health would be a good bonus, as her damage output is actually quite good and her sustain is there a little bit, it would be more prominent if she had a bigger health pool.

Junker Queen is so underrated. I didn't play her when she came out because people kept saying she was bad. But one day I just needed to find a tank for a certain situation and chose her. I dominated rank with Junker Queen and Sombra ever since.
Tip: If you come across a ball player like the one in your second game, get a Sombra on your team. Ez pickens then.
Ball/sombra is kind of a skill matchup since ball can punish sombra easily by finding her tp and eating her bones

I feel as tho jq needs a super slight buff to her ult as its so easily countered and basically a throwaway ult almost unless you play perfectly.
Make her ult give her some armor or remove wind up for her ult. Or give her ult like a sigma ult effect where if they are under like 40% hp they just die. Or if they are above they take 30% of their hp on top of anti.
Edit: when i say some armor i mean like 30 or so because armor is super strong lol.
I also think she is fine overall rn. But one of these changes would be awesome.
JQ is alot of fun but needs some love from devs. I can use better healing from bleeds and maybe a little bit or armor. Her shout temp hp should heal her. If she were missing hp, shout should heal her.
And about JQ's ult, she's the pharah of tanks :D If you manage to hit 3-4 ppl it's big but you get canceled easily.

As fun as JQ is, I have a problem with tanks that are just Giga buffed dps, like JunkerQueen, Roadhog, WreckingBall, Doomfist that offer little utility/peel to their team compared to like a Reinhardt, DVA, Sigma, or Winston
Its because they were all designed to be Off tanks in a 2 tank game. and when they removed one they made no changes to them just buffed them.

And Tanks frontline the most and are always engaged in fights that's why it looks like they have more dps but its actually cuz they're always engaged in combat
+ its usually low utility tanks that don't give much utility to their team that have high dps like hog doom jq

I find Doomfist and wrecking ball more fun but only if you're good at them

the different bleeds do stack I think, but doing the same bleed will just refresh it (melee, throw, axe, ult)
Bleeds definitely stack, you can have a bleed from Gracie and Carnage applied at the same time, and her ult can even stack on top of that.
You just can't stack the same bleed, like the guy above me said.

I stil think her bleed is kinda meh and the healing you get from it is only useful with the ult. I don't want blizzard marking the bleed stronger but faster so even if you get a small amount of HP from it will go up quicker

I don't understand how these high level players do what they do. I can poke out and get melted in seconds, meanwhile he's running into multiple enemies and coming out on top. Maybe his teammates have better aim and are getting more attention? In my low level experience, tanks get focused down real quick, on both sides.

It may look like they're just doing random normal stuff but if you notice more carefully
They usually do them differently like instead of slamming right behind an enemy they would slam behind beside a pillar to block los from one side, it may seem like they just slamming behind them but no they slammed behind beside cover where they can easily turn punch into the mega behind em for health
Instead of diving the 2 support and reaper behind, they'd rather dive that cassidy on the high ground alone
They will go aggressive but also always be around some sort of cover for example the cart itself like Jay was doing with JQ
Stay away from enemy tank as winston unless you have to like Jay was doing cuz he knows ram against monke, ram wins so he only dove ram when he was low
Also you only see a handful of matches on youtube if you watch their twitch you would see that just like the rest of us they also get chipped off and thrown back to spawn for peaking or punished for going aggro
It happens all the time but they only post the ones where it works out or something funny happens

Tanks being 500hp dps and supports doing dps numbers is why I’d rather play 2 tanks and 1 dps. Tank duos are much more fun than dps duos and it’s kinda hard to underperform with 500hp and a extra bigman
