- In 2018 we followed Dutch rapper Jacin Trill in the run-up to the release of his new album "Happyland 2.0". We followed him to sold out shows, crying fans and the rest of his empire.
In a few years time, it has become impossible to imagine the Dutch rap scene without Jacin Trill. His projects Happyland, Happyland 2.0 and his EP with spiritual father Bokoesam were all a big success.
This incredible glow up naturally screams the word 'boyhood dream'. In addition, Jacin's attitude is extremely contagious - there has rarely been a happier person on this part of the globe. Everything is happy and high and the world seems to be at its feet. To find out if it isn't really too good to be true, we followed team Jacin Trill in 2018 in the week before the release of his album Happyland 2.0.

Been listening to this guy for a little over a year and I'm glad he's finally getting some recognition in America, hopefully he blows up here as well after all todays generation cares more about the vibe and melody so if your looking for that he's no different than a playboi cart type. If anyone has a chance here from his country its him.
There was a lil doc about him where he said that he was afraid he would lose his upcoming fame. If he keeps it up he can stay famous and rise further.
He is actually losing his fame/already lost a lot of fame here, i think if he goes to america and get into the music business there he will blow up again

Alle grapjes op zij, Jacin just fell off. Ik weet nog zo goed toen ik voor de eerste keer naar zijn optreden ging in 23 november 2018. Derde album ging viraal. Uitverkocht zalen alles. Ik was echt in love, tot nu. Ik luister hem nog steeds en ik hoop zo erg dat hij opkomt, echter is dit gewoon business. Music is just business. Kijk maar naar Lil Kleine, hij begrijpt het en heeft een uitstekend team om zich heen en zie die cijfers. Wat Jacin ook opmerkt in deze video is dat dit net een drug is, vooral social media ook. Als je eerst twee jaar fucking famous was, iedereen kende je en dan zie je dit alleen maar afnemen, dan gebeurt er iets met je. Als je mentaal niet sterk bent ga je daaraan ten onder. Die manager snap ik ook niet, geen haat. Love naar Jacin en ik hoop zo erg dat hij nog gaat shinen, echter zie ik dit niet gebeuren om eerlijk te zijn...
