The way he died killed ME with laughter
Ken Foree is one of the coolest actors of all time, even though he hasn't been in too many movies. ALL because of his role as PETER in 'Dawn of the Dead' (which I have seen over 50 times, I know every word to that movie). "YOU NEVER AIM A GUN AT ANYONE MISTER.... Scary! Isn't it?... Isn't it?". His voice, his acting, his demeanor, he is the HERO of Dawn of the Dead (in a time not many Black characters were the HERO, especially in a Horror film).
Cool Blaze I will always remember him as Mr. Roger Rockmore. And his courageous battles against his wacky neighbor known as Kel Kimble.

D COSBY I’m black and never had a problem with that because Superman was always my favorite and he was a good dude in general. It fit within the character of John Henry, he was just inspired by a superhero that cares about everyone and is an example of what to strive for.

Korey’s right. They should’ve gone louder and crazier with this flick. Could’ve been an R-rated, plain clothes superhero type deal. Instead, it feels meandering and unsure of what it wants to be. Martin’s also dead on about the Luke Cage influence. Don’t think this would’ve been greenlit, were it not for the Marvel/Netflix series. Yet, that’s not the kind of story this movie wanted to tell. Wasted opportunity.
My theory is a lot of this movie was Terry Crews audition tape for Luke Cage. He was in the running once upon a time ago. He probably had so much footage that he decided to find someone to make this a film. 😂
