this is a lot better than the NBC version because it is crystal clear. what I love about this are:
1. Mari with Kinjaz
2. Joesar being active (he is great with Bam!)
3. Having them on finale instead of swing latino lmao

Honestly! He followed every beat, he fit in perfectly, very cool. He's truly a talented dancer in every way, mad respect! And obviously, the choreography was PERFECT, cause Kinjaz, duh.
He did a lot better in this rehearsal than the live performance thats for sure. Respect for the man though.

I don't think Derek fit in perfectly with the dance. I think he was too tense when dancing whilst Mari, Keone and the Kinjaz were more chill and flowy with their movements. But he did do well considering this isn't his normal style of dancing and that he managed to keep up.

in our group we got hiphop dancers that came from ballet, their body control is fucking amazing. some even compete in HHI in just 1-2 years of learning hiphop.

The longer i follow The Kinjaz, the more i feel like their greatest strength is that they've always got something new. This entire performance is packed with things I've never seen them (or anyone) do before. Honestly, i don't know how they do it!
Kinjaz are known for being amazing so i knew its gonna be lit, but derek killed it too damn... respect!
I've seen this video a billion times I can't get over how sick Mike Song's section is and how nice it would be to have a good shot of the full section with the lights that was in the actual performance 😅
That moment when the best act of the night was a guest performance by those who didnt even make it to the finals last time. Wonder why they didnt get swing latino for this 🤔.

On the video at 2:23mins Keone asked how many are there in Kinjaz, Mike song replied 36 but at that time it was 34, during or before WOD Season 1. so those "2" are Keone and Mari, they could have been recruited immediately after the end of WOD season 1.

Quintana I thought it's Trevor because I remember kinjaz posted him on facebook but I'm not 100%sure. however , whether it's mari or trevor, they removed them now based on their video uploaded months ago about "how many are there in kinjaz" and they named them one by one and with a total of 35 members.
Derek has no hip-hop dance background and yet he is dancing better than most urban dancers such as me.

Derek actually does have training in hip hop. He's known for his ballroom dancing, but he's no stranger to hip hop. Growing up it was actually his favorite class
He is a professional dancer. I think it really helps that he knows his body, if that make sense

Thank you for posting the rehearsal footage! I actually love this more than the one performed at the Finals. The high value production on WOD is amazing but in combination with the way WOD films and edits, it was just a little too much for me at least and distracted from really seeing some of the dynamics and feeling the impact of their movements. But I’m so glad WOD asked Kinjaz and Keone + Mari back to do a guest performance!

If you guys can catch my reference from Mortal Kombat, Derek Hough is like Raiden. Even though he's a judge, he will come down to perform with teams like Kinjaz because he respects the dance. Big ups to him for going in.

This was way cleaner than what showed on TV . Loved it kinjaz and K.M together perfect combo . Derek just showed he is a natural dancer big props. Next season they need to bring in big name groups with judges that actually know dance styles

I gotta say, I had doubts with Derek Hough being in this. But man, he killed it! And as always, Kinjaz, Keone & Mari killed it too! Props also to the person that shot this. This is way better than the WOD version.
When everyone knows these two groups were robbed, even the only qualified judge so they kill it once again 💖 so much love to these group and I love watching them so much.
The last transition in the music is so moving...puts a lump in my throat every time I watch it regardless of any stage production. Amazing choreography and camera-work. Almost prefer this raw version where we can see all of their beautiful faces.

Ok so:
1. So impressed about Derek’s part, how he kept up with the Kinjaz’s movement, tho I wouldn’t be surprised as he is a professional dancer
2. Been a big fan of Bam Martin since his “Ooh Kill Em” Video with GRV and overall GRV days. Actually was inspired to take up dance because of him, even tho I’m not as great to this point.
His jumping/prepping and fast overall choreo is what makes him Bam. 🙌
3. Kinjaz has also influenced my style of urban dance and the way how I interpret music.
4. Gotta appreciate the videography, formations, transitions, timing, details within the choreo ! 👌💯
