I think Chad Gabel will win the intercontinental champion soon and alpha academy will implode and we'll have a match between Gable and Otis but in a shocking term of events Maxine will betray Otis and cost him the match. She'll turn heel and become a heel manager/ occasional Wrestler. She'll stay loyal to Chad Gable.
Randy Orton beating Cody Rhodes on the first try makes an interesting story. Think about it.
1. Randy beating Cody establishes him as still a threat.
2. It gives Cody doubt he can beat Randy.
3. Makes Things Better When He Finally Beats him to take the belt back.
All I see are facts. If Randy has to win it on his second try, I think it takes away any heat from the rivalry after that first match.
Yeah… That could be a great story there. It will be unpredictable that Randy won it the first match? Instead of it being the second time? Yes?
9:32 I agree but I think the creeds will help Gable win the title, I think Otis fails to help him beat Sami one on one in Canada at MITB and the creeds help him win at Summerslam introducing a gable academy / Team Gable faction. I’d also love for the creeds to beat awesome truth after they turn heel.
I don't understand why wrestling fans think that any short term reign is immediately an underwhelming one. Some reigns are destined to be short, Priest's is one of them. There is no option but to lose against Drew, this is clear as day. Liv Morgan will only hold on to the title until Rhea is back, and again that makes sense. Meanwhile Cody is being painted as the face of the company, so having him lose soon is not ideal. It's a case by case situation, I want WWE to remind its fans that reigns are not meant to last from one WrestleMania to another, so that whenever a superstar does achieve that feat it's actually seen in a greater light by the audience.
I can see the argument for Drew beating Priest in Scotland, but I think we're going to see CM Punk costing Drew the title again, setting up Drew vs. Punk at Summerslam while Priest remains champion to face Gunther, also at Summerslam.

True. I mean look at Cena. 16 time world champion. There are times where he held it for like 380 days, 280 and 133 days (twice mind you). Other times are like 1 to 3 months. Heck his last wwe title win lasted for 2 weeks.
I agree though I if I may retort there is a difference between a short reign & losing in their first major title defense. Makes it seem like they never belonged there to begin with.

i think your reservations re: jade and bianca are important. i disagree about them not having a long reign, i think it's a great way to establish Jade's dominance while giving her time to develop alongside one of the best. it also makes the tag titles more prestigious. I'd like them to hold the titles until sometime around the rumble, then they can build the WM match
I think you missed out the NXT North American and NXT Tag Team Titles, as well as the Heritage Cup. For me, I have no idea who will eventually beat Oba Femi for that title, my best guess would be Wes Lee slaying the giant and getting the title back. For the NXT Tag Titles, it seems pretty obvious that Gallows and Anderson will be Frazer and Axiom, that's been building for some time. For the Heritage Cup, there are rumors that William Regal is coming back to NXT TV, maybe he will help Charlie Dempsey win the Cup back from Tony D.

So for the sake of building Damien well, I don’t think Drew needs the title. Does he deserve it? Yes. But his feud with CM Punk doesn’t need a title involved. Their feud is amazing on its own.
Damien though has a slow burn going with Finn. Finn should absolutely be the one to beat Damien. I think Finn wins the Money In the Bank. Says he’ll never cash in on Damien only to smash Damien after a long fought title defense and take his belt. Then have a feud between the 2 that culminates at WrestleMania. This feud SHOULD center around the belt because when Finn was fighting Seth for it, he felt that Damien screwed him. Then his jealousy of the MITB briefcase showed through.
But could fans really fathom Drew losing in his stomping grounds? That would be a tough pill to swallow!
I don’t know if Finn has the main star appeal for ratings like he did a few years ago to validate winning the title but this is a cool concept! I’d love Damian v Finn on a big stage.
I do agree with Damian needing a decent title run, but not that it *needs* to be that long or involved in a Damian v Finn match. It gets in the way of too much. Gunther is getting the title this year for sure, and Drew doesn't just deserve it but still needs the title not for his career but that's what is being set up and nobody will be pleased if he doesn't get it, and constantly getting snubbed without actually having that payoff soon could definitely hurt his character
@@sirmlfwell I think in this scenario, CM Punk screws Drew at Clash at the Castle. Just to add more fuel to that fire. Maybe let their feud have a payoff at Summerslam or further out.
But yes, at some point Drew needs the title and a solid title reign. But idk if it does anything for his feud with Punk.
@@cydamiicso I actually have an idea for Gunther to keeps him relevant but away from the title so these other stories can play out. My thought is, he goes for his title shot but gets screwed by Bron Breakker. Dude is still pissed about not being King of the Ring. He wrecks Gunther and starts calling himself The King Breakker. Every time Gunther makes a play for the title, Bron destroys him until they have their one-on-one. This gives Bron credibility, can flip Gunther to face for a bit and keeps both busy without the World Title because there are too many big stories at play with the Titles in the middle.

I think they must give Liv a long run as chamion or one where she'd be winning and losing the title a couple times because if she loses the title as soon as Rhea returns it would probably bury Liv and she would seem a weak champion. I would see with good eyes her switching brands before losing the title at backlash.

I mean Simon the titles have been named that for a year now. The Women’s World championship is the title that looks like the Men’s World Heavyweight Championship. That’s easy to remember. The other one is the WWE Women’s Championship which looks like the WWE Championship. So it makes sense if you just think about it.
I think Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are going to be the ones to take the tag titles off Bianca and Jade. The QR codes pop up sometimes during their matches so they are likely going to target them.
This would be a great way to turn Bianca heel because Alexa could play mind games and cause tensions to build with Jade which causes them to split.
Not to mention it would greatly elevate the Wyatt 6 as a threat when they make their return. And that match between Jade and Bianca which could happen at Wrestlemania.
Jey USO will def need a pay off for the main event Jey soon maybe IC title or World heavy weight championship for a short time he is so over it will just take him that much higher even if his title run is short for either title

For the Raw Tag Titles, I would go w/ the Creed Brothers after they join the New Alpha Academy
I think Roxanne didn't get called up because they want her vs Cora Jade for the title, something that could've been done in the past but Cora got injured after her return early this year.
Giulia's unfortunate injury could give WWE the opportunity to make Roxanne vs Cora for the title (if Cora could compete) and then Giulia gets her shot vs Cora.
It’s also a waste to call people up if you don’t use them properly. Bayley is hardly on tv. Roxanne wouldn’t have immediately entered a program with Rhea (or won). Leave her where she is and let her dominate NXT for another year.

The Intercontinental title is in a very good place right now.
Solo Sikoa could take the title so everything gets wrapped together and the new Bloodline is rock's with solo as his main guy. They feud with Roman, Cody, Usos...leads into WM Season where you get The Rock vs Roman and The Rock vs Cody matches. I think that is a big possibility as I'm not 100% sure they can drag Rock vs Roman until WM 42...
But I think if this is the case the end game should be Cody standing tall over The Rock at WrestleMania 41 rather then Roman. But maybe they really are able to drag Rock vs Roman out until WrestleMania 42. But I don't see them risking that....
I think Cody is actually a really good champion and right now is even doing a better job then Cena, I don't necessarily have an issue with him having a long title reign
After WM 41 you can then do long term Cody vs Randy and Cody vs Punk feuds. Rock vs Cody can be abit like Austin vs McMahon with the Bloodline as rock's henchmen.
I think it's better to have long term money feuds rather then quick ones. That would be two years worth easily there for Cody.
Randy makes all the sense in the world, he would be 15x World Champion, right? (either World Heavyweight or WWE), setting him in a whole other league, near enough to Flair and Cena, but not quite there, which seems fitting.
I think Trick needs a different finisher.
Liv is in dangerous waters with having the title on her rn. If they don’t book her well and as a top star and a strong and smart champion her career could take a massive hit (shades of her first title reign).
Liv needs to be phenomenal at damn near every turn. Rhea vs Liv has wrestlemania main event material written all over it I hope they take it all the way somehow. They need to give Liv more stuff outside of rhea for her to seem credible in the long run.

Awesome stuff, but I doubt the need for Sonya to distract Jade & Bianca. However, that is what will mostly happen.
Shayna Baszler is sufficiently credible for a clean win in my opinion and I think that would be better to revitalize the belts, having more than one team presented as competitive. She's a UFC fighter, could probably wipe the floor with these two or any other woman in WWE.
No need to keep tarnishing her credibility in WWE, i'd rather have a better story for Sonya to reconcile with Shayna or have them be rivals.
Here's how I see it
I want Liv to lose to Raquel. It'd really kinda intertwine the storyline even more with Liv and Rhea as well as adding Raquel to the mix who has history with both. Unfortunately Aliyah isn't in the company anymore because if she was this could easily be a 4 way feud to clean up that particular timeline. Book Liv as a crafty AJ Lee type of champ that shows brilliance in strategy so that she can have an "Always escape" type of reign where she puts on fantastic matches and never has a clean win over a big name. Someone like Bianca or Rhea shouldn't lose clean to Liv but I'd believe Liv beating someone like Bianca or Rhea if we went that route. Liv should however be champion for a long time.
Have Jade and Bianca lose to Katana and Kayden. They never got to actually hold the championships and they are a great way to rebuild and rebrand the tag champions. Also giving them a clean win over Bianca and Jade would establish them and this could set something up with Jade and Bianca
Have Roxxane lose to Natayla and give Natayla a long year plus reign as champ. Roxane has the character known as the prodigy and as a heel I think the storytelling of an Upstart Prodigy that got full of herself losing everything to the vet is insane. I'd then have Natayla lose to Cora just for the sake of storyline continuity and finally putting over Cora.
Bayley should absolutely lose the Women's champion(SD) to Dakota. Plenty of fantastic candidates on SD but Dakota makes ge most sense especially when you consider the possibility of a Dakota Kai backstabbing Damage Control storyline. Have All of Damage control as well as the better of the SD roster feud with Dakota and build her as a force. Ultimately have Tegan beat her.
I think they never did anything with Bayley because it was always a transitional reign and it was just for the moment and I also don’t see Randy beating Cody he’s most likely walking into Mania as champ

I think Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria should beat Bianca and Jade at Survivor Series. Have Jade turn on Bianca after, put them both in the Rumble and have them cost each other and brawl all over the arena and then do Jade vs Bianca non title at Wrestlemania 41
I personally believe wwe planned on having Liv beat rhea at some point anyway so I dont see rhea beating liv for this title
I think Jinder should return and beat Cody for the belt. It would be as surprising as when he beat Orton.

Personally I don't think Rhea and Liv should be for the title. Have someone like Io turn face as it looks like she is doing, and take it from Liv. That way when Rhea does come back, their feud is all about the bad blood, and the title doesn't fill like a third wheel. When it's gotten this personal, I think this is the best way to handle it.
I’d have CM Punk cost Priest so he can say to McIntyre your only champion because I made you champion, you had your moment with your fans cos I gave you your moment with your fans and could also cause the rift between judgement day because Damian loses next night the judgement day kick him out and try and recruit punk to be their new leader only for Liv to become the new leader
I really hope Cody vs Rock isn't at Mania, I'd rather they just get Rock vs Roman out the way. I'm so sick off part timers getting all the top mania spots

Drew McIntyre is the only logical choice to beat Damian Priest. DIY or R-KO could beat Waller and Theory. The only reason Nia Jax won Queen of the Ring is because she's related to Dwayne Johnson. Honestly Randy Orton defeating Cody Rhodes is the best overall story, plus have Randy Orton break Ric Flair's record for World Championships in the process. The only other individual that could believably beat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship is A.J. Styles.

I don’t think the Otis angle is as compelling as some might thing. Everyone was rooting for Virgil to beat Dibiase. Then he beat him for the belt and everyone stopped caring about Virgil.
