  • ROMANS 2:12-15
12 For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law.15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them...

Why don’t you all just say simply… “We are only free from “the law“, because we have received the blood of Jesus Christ!

In OT prophecy, God promised to write the Law on the hearts of those that would be saved when He start a new thing.
Reformed theology pushed this idea into Romans 2-7 that even though Paul addresses YOU in the present tense he was somehow not speaking to the church. I reality Romans 2 opens by speaking to professing Jews (like the circumcision) that try for force their traditions on gentiles. Those gentiles with the Law written on their hearts are not the entire world, but the professing gentiles who prove they are saved because they follow the true law because it has been written on their hearts.
Instead we get interpretations that insist Paul is using some literary divine and the tense and address that is clearly written simply does. it matter.

It is amazing how you could talk these verses and make them mean what you want them to mean when it is clear what its actually saying

@@swithinegwuchim481 well im glad you asked .the book of romans is all about all about freedom from sin which is caused by the law. That verse highlights it all and it means just what it says . those who insist on trying to follow that death will be judge by it but those of us who live life without it will die without sin, for sin is only known through the law. Blessed is the man to which god will not inpute sin romans 4:8. THE KING IS HERE!

@@kingfree3396 Ok I think I'm getting you: sin comes from the law... So are you saying Romans is saying we should not even try to follow the law?

@@swithinegwuchim481 no im not saying that , thats what the book says im just revealing the truth of god as written. Please go reread romans from this prospective and watch how it pops out at you while your at it read hebrews also but romans makes it clear because it says the same thing over and over and over to make sure you cant miss the point.

@@kingfree3396 I think you're wrong on you interpretation. It says that even if you do not know the law or choose to be ignorant, naturally God has put a conscience in us. For instance even someone who is not a christian knows they shouldn't kill, be jealous, envious, steal or lie but rather be loving, honest kind e.t.c.

Dear God, thank you that I can feel again, in a good way, thank you for restoring my senses! I therefore bind one to desire to mourn with those mourning and rejoicing with those rejoicing according to our conscience and word of God while binding to hell every lack of desire to mourn with those mourning and rejoicing according to one's conscience and word of God with those rejoicing in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents, the children I teach and the body of Christ, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone lacking desire to mourn with those mourning and rejoicing with those rejoicing according to one's conscience and the word of God, in accordance with this word and romans 2:12-15, romans 12:15, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
