    Kishane Thompson and Noah Lyles are the most promising to me since neither of them ran even CLOSE to their perfect races in paris. Id say Kishane thompson is ever so slightly faster than Lyles but Lyles executes better on the big stage

      Whenever its championships, i never have Seville on the podium, but that young man is very talented. He jogged a 9.8 in the semis, but he never runs his best when it matters even in Jamaican trials he can't win even while cruising sub 10s in the heats and semis.

    Whoever is the World Champion at the end of the year in 2025 will be the athlete who can peak accordingly on the day regardless of the conditions, isn't limited or hindered by injuries and can make the least mistakes possible for the final.
    Right now, it isn't clear who can win with the season hasn't started yet but I believe strongly in consistency, good health and big race mentality/execution. The only person who has been able to showcase this constantly recently has been Noah Lyles. The results don't lie with his podium placements at every World Outdoor, World Indoor & Olympic Championship he's taken part of since 2019. Someone will have to outperform him in almost every way both technically & mentally and possibly PB to beat Lyles to take his title.
    Next year's season and beyond are going to be longer than usual so a lot of people are going to have to adjust majorly before burn outs and injuries happen.

  • @AllInTheGame01
    @AllInTheGame01 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

    So many injuries over the last 2-3yrs to Trayvon (9.76), Ronnie (9.83), Marvin (9.85) who last ran in Sep '23 & Cravont (9.90), be good to just see them back healthy in '25. Will Noah even run @Trials or run one or both 100/200m given his 2 Wildcards (like he did with the 200m @'22 Trials)? From '25 going fwd, WCs are going to be 9-Lane Semis & Finals in every event up to & inc the 800m, so if 9.85 Paris OLY Jacobs turns up, he should make that 9-Lane Final (ran his 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th fastest times all in '24), as should a 9.83 Zharnel who won '23 WC 100m Bronze but got injured in '24.
    13:35; 😂 Way too confident thinking the facts were on your side when a decent point about Jacobs was being made (since indoors were briefly brought up, he beat Coleman for 60m Gold in 6.41 @'22 World Indoors). So apparently 23yr old 9.77 Kishane literally 0.005s away from OLY Gold in his 1st Global 100m Final doesn't warrant a WC podium place ahead of 23yr old 9.81 Oblique who finished 4th, 4th & 8th in his last 3 WC/OLY 100m Finals?! Make it make sense...Way too early predictions to make '25 Tokyo WC M100m Final; 3 USA (Noah, Fred & Kenny), 2 JAM (Kishane & Oblique), 2 AFR (Tebogo & Simbine) & 2 EUR (Zharnel & Jacobs).

      I respect your opinion. But this is a sport where you compete against people in the other lanes. Kendal beat the NCAA 100M champion as a high school senior. Which is impressive by any measure. To be honest, not 1 man in the Olympic 100M final this year is listed as having a top 10 time as an under 18 athlete. Youth accomplishments matter. But history does not seem to suggest it is a simple carry over that being the best at one age, makes you the best later on. It does however get you in the conversation with the best in the world earlier. Which is exactly where Gout Gout is now. He is in the conversation as one of the world's great up and coming talents. But it is asking a lot to consider him the "NEXT" Usain when he has yet to run a pro race, and did not win "EVERYTHING" amongst junior athletes he could even this year. Time will tell, if he is in fact the next greatest ever. And if he does, I will certainly give him the flowers for doing so.

      Chris Coleman is 28 years old. lol He's in his prime years. If he works out the back end of his race the others are in trouble.

      @@Tadaia The real problem with Coleman is he can't dope like he used to without risking a second ban that would end his career.

      @@Tadaia So you think an athlete should be able to skip as many tests as they like? He also got caught lying to anti-doping. Funny how him skipping tests coincided with his peak season and now post ban he struggles to finish his races without his form falling apart.

    Kishane ran a horrible race and got 🥈 in Paris.. You guys are crazy. Noah won the race of his life and marginally beat kishane. If kishane runs even mediocre in Tokyo he will win by a margin of 0.05 or more. I don't really know or care who will come second.
