    I just purchased a set of Focal Shape 40's for my desktop setup. After seeing a lot of positive reviews on the IsoAcoustic products I decided to purchase the ISO-Stands to go along with my Focals. Upon first listen of the Focal's I had already installed them with the ISO-Stands. The increase in clarity was very solid! Just out of curiosity, I removed the ISO-Stands, and immediately, I noticed the sound from the mid drivers bouncing off of the desktop. Without hesitation, I immediately reinstalled the ISO-Stands. Excellent product!

    I use IsoAcoustics isolation technology products on all eight of my speaker sets. One subwoofer I had to sit on the pantry wood cabinet in my bathroom, twelve components, and turntable. I'm currently using the GAIA I, II, III speaker isolators; the OREA Graphite, Bronze, Indigo, Bordeaux; the ISO-130 stand, ISO-PUCK mini, ISO-PUCK, ISO-PUCK 76; the DELSO 1815W1. The biggest bang-for-the-buck was with the speakers and turntable; great products IMO.

    I got the ISO 200s. Used the shorter rods. The longer ones were too high for my current set up and they seemed too unstable to use that high.

    They look fantastic. In my setup I would have to tilt them down quite a bit. My concern : how " sticky" is the rubber ? Can I put a LS 50 on it and tilt down to the max without it starting to slide ? :)

    Where can I buy the rods separately? I seemed to have lost mine over the years

    Is the 155 model also suitable for the Yamaha HS8?
    Because it seems like a pair of Dynaudio 8" in the video, and it look ok...
    I understand that the 200 model is bigger, but will the 155 also get the job done?

      I’m wondering the same thing because I ordered 8” monitors and want to get iso acoustic stands but don’t know if I need 155 or 200

    In tilted position, how does it stay in place? Really would like to know this.

    I have an old B&M tower speakers, I need something to raise a little up from our wooden floor, screw for spikes are busted. which one could work? I need sturdy balance ones for the tall speakers.

    Do IsoAcoustics Aperta stands for the Dynaudio Special 40 speakers have parameters comparable to ISO-PUCK, or does any model have better properties?

    The monitor on the stand with the tall legs wobbling like crazy at the slightest breeze :D I own these stands and the tall legs are 100% unusable IMO. Do you really find that much instability acceptable?

    • @econautx
      @econautx 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Are you sure you assembled them correctly? There's one reviewer here on youtube who had the same problem but after the video he found out, that he hadn't pushed in
      the legs completely.

      @@econautx Yeah, I saw that review but mine are in as far as they go. You can see in the video above at 2:54 that they wobble like hell as the slightest vibration on the desk. I love the product but the tall stands are an absolute joke.

      Saw that too in the video, and I've read in multiple forum topics that the stands are very wobbly in tall configuration.

      That’s how they are supposed to work it ‘s supposed to float. If it was rigid that would defeat the purpose of the stands.

    • @davidmcpoland5286
      @davidmcpoland5286 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@phototristan Their job is to decouple the speaker from the surface its on, which they do whether you use 1" or 100" poles. The amount of play is an unfortunate side effect of using longer poles due to bad design IMO.

    If you want to install both adapters do they go on both sides of the tube, or sane side?

    But is this stable enough? I'm worried the speakers may fall and break.

    At approx 5:16 the tall stand is wawing in the air just by his voice :-)))))))))))))) NOT LOOKING VERY STABLE. Maybe thats the point in reducing Vibrations

    The tall legs are practically useless with that wobble, other than that it's a great product for isolation.

  • @brandonsanchezr.7383
    @brandonsanchezr.7383 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Mine didn't work, they didn't decouple my speakers from my desk entirely, they just helped a little bit.
    Also, these are supposed to be for professional use right? And the Aperta series are supposed to be for home use right? Then why are these made out of cheap plastic and the aperta out of aluminum? I don't get it, I'm disappointed.

    • @TheChill0ut
      @TheChill0ut 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try pressing the top and bottom more firmly together and check for wobble before placing the speakers on top. If you still place them on the desk check for resonances in the placement area beneath the stand.
