@@arcanoime well, not much, I tried it in a few spots and it seemed to improve the grass during the spring. I will have to run it more to find out. It works better when the soil has some moisture in it a day or two after a rain

I desire to build one, I like yer idea of water heater. I had been thinking 55 gal drum, bigger in dia but thinner steel.
