I know it's a little late now but I just watched a video where they take the glue gun nose (that gets hot) and press that into the ornament at the seam. It melts a hole the size of the nose of the gun which is about the same size top of the smaller ornament. You take the cap off like you did but don't cut off the top. Then use your glue around the hole (you don't need that much) and insert the ornament in the hole. Make since? I guess I haven't described it very well and I apologize for that but that way you won't show any excess glue. Anyway, have a great day and I enjoyed your video.
Jacqueline Groth This is a fantastic tip! The "ears" would be even more stable by doing this, too. Thank you so much for letting me know about this, and thank you for watching! Happy 2018!👍
Hi, Heather. Here is the link to the Minnie Mouse snowflake ornaments. The quality of the video is not great, and it doesn’t show how sparkly they are, but you can see what resources I used. (I added the red sequins as an afterthought.) Thank you so much for watching! I will be making more videos soon (took some time off for my first grand baby). Happy Holidays! th-cam.com/video/TPz2Cz4qSis/w-d-xo.html

Take your glue gun and make a hole in the ornament and push the smaller ornament in the bigger one. That is how I made mine.
