- Paro is a picturesque valley town located in the Kingdom of Bhutan and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. The city is the gateway to Bhutan for international travellers, as it houses the country's only international airport. The town is situated in the Paro District which is often called the cultural heart of Bhutan.

All you need is the e-permit (link in description) and your passport. You’ll need to plan the trip with a tour operator before you go though.

I visited in early June. I think summers is a great time, but if you like cold and snow, winters is great too 👍👍

Well depends on what you want to do there. I was there in June and it was an excellent time - not too hot or cold, and easy to travel around.

You must connect with a travel agency and get a quote based on what’ll you want to do. I think on average it’s a bit more expensive than India, but not significantly more. Cost of hotels vary quite a bit as well - my trip was a bit more expensive because of that.

Do these people respect Hinduism Because as we know Buddhism is a branch of Hundisim. however the country is really beautiful ❤
Frankly I never discussed Hinduism as much but they were certainly very warm towards India.
Also, I would like to correct you that Buddhism is NOT a branch of Hinduism. Even if you just scrape the surface, the philosophies of the two faiths are very different. I won’t go into details here, but please do read up on this and you’ll appreciate the uniqueness of the two distinct faiths.
