As a librarian im happy to see that you were so respectful to the library. Also to answer the large print question, on the spine of the book it will say "large print" or "LP" if the print is larger.
Aww this is a late reply but I’m so glad to read this comment! My dad used to take me to a library all the time when I was a kid - it’s definitely a safe space for me 🥰 and good to know about LP books!
Large print books for us old people who need a larger font. You are blessed ( and cursed) these days to have all sorts of information at your fingertips! We needed a great set of encyclopedias or a well stocked library to do our school reports. And we had to write out everything. And to read on a kindle instead of an actual book seems crazy to me. I think young people have missed out by some "advancements ." But time marches on and so does progress. I do however enjoy your videos since I find myself needing help to get to sleep these days! Thank you for making such great videos! Much appreciated!!
Thank you for tuning in Ms. SallyJane!! ☺️ I myself prefer hard copies of books to electronic versions, though I will admit I have utilized Wikipedia more than a few times!! I’m sure I will be reading the large print in my old age as well 😅 I hope you are getting some good sleep 🥰❤️🌛🫶
Even young people read print books. We aren’t living in a dystopia without physical books (yet lol 😂). However I love ebooks. Finding out I could get a few college textbooks in ebook format? Life changing lol. Those books are HEAVY and expensive. I use kindle unlimited which let’s you check out any book labeled kindle unlimited for an unlimited amount of time (until you stop renewing the subscription fee). I read a book a dayish on my kindle. I’ve read a book a day for months on end. If I tried to check out a book a day I’d never be able to read as much as most libraries have book limits and I wouldn’t necessarily be able to go every week to cycle through books. I also use my library’s app to check out books that way! It’s winter and we get tons of snow where I live. This way I can check out books at my own pace and not risk life and limb braving the streets in my tiny two door car lol. I grew up in the 2000s so no ebooks for me. Paper books through most of high school as well. I don’t think I’ve missed out on anything. When I do check out physical books I’m annoyed by hand cramps and needing reading lights. Reading in bed with some dim mood lights on with my kindle is peak happy time lol. I get that change is hard and if I was like 50 and grew up with only paper books I imagine ebooks would seem strange. But when you read on an e-ink reader (basically not a tablet like an iPad or your smart phone screen. The special readers meant to JUST be readers) you don’t get eye strain. It’s like reading on paper. Only better imo since you can adjust font spacing margins and backlight to fit perfectly to your needs. And you can read in the bath without fear. Just saying 😂 I have friends my age who also don’t like ereaders and then there’s a whole group of young people who feel elite because they only read physical books? It’s very weird but it’s a thing. Like imagine a group of twenty somethings gloating proudly to everyone about how they use a typewriter and typewriters are the original computer and no one needs to use Microsoft word and omg the eye strain they could never! That’s how I feel about the elistism in paperback only groups. It’s too bizarre to me especially considering how helpful ereaders can be. I’m not even old but adjusting font size is SO NICE. Real books I’m like leaning forward lol. Especially fantasy those books are thick with small font.
I feel so old after watching this. Went from being early 30s to feeling 70. I was actually surprised the audiobooks were on CD and not cassette tape 😂 First video of yours I’ve watched as it came up in my recommended. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be watching more!
@10:55 I have a friend who is a librarian, and from what i hear of her days at work, seeing somebody record ASMR won't even crack their top 10 most unusual things they see any given day @17:49 I think the word you're looking for is "embossing" Three cheers to you and your cameraperson for another relaxing and fun video! Your commentary is really great.
I had the hardest time trying to differ this library from the one in my town 💀 They are literally so similar- I guess it’s the small town curse lol Also the video was great! I LOVE this idea as an ASMR video, it’s very relaxing and gives off all the right library vibes lol
Really!? I legit have never seen cake pans in a public library before, so if your library has those that’s hilarious 😅 thank you so much for watching 🥰
I loved this! Firstly, thank you to your camera person! And secondly, girl you don't even know, I used to rollerblade down the sidewalk in my neighborhood gently holding my CD player in my hand so it wouldn't skip. People can now work out and hike and do all sorts of things while listening to a podcast or streaming music or TH-cam videos. It used to be that fit people just had their own brains, that was literally it. You went for a run with NOTHING.
One of your videos popped up in my feed a few days ago and i decided to check it out, by far the best decision i made. Your videos are so good and they give me tingles after i thought i was tingle immune lol ❤ Im 26 and im not a fan of e-books, i actually hate them and whenever i try reading one I get a headache. I prefer hard copies and the smell of books I tried kindle once or twice and i found it amazing, idk how tbh and im intending on buying it soon (idk when lol ) Anyway keep up the good work, lots of love❤
I'm only 22 but this video made me feel old as hell because I very distinctly remember listening to audio books (and cds!) as a child. And the kids at my summer camp didn't know who Hannah Montana was. I guess this is my official welcome into adulthood
Just discovered your channel and so glad I did! You're really good at ASMR, and your energetic & vibrant personality contrasts nicely with the relaxing and peaceful feelings the ASMR provides. Love that library! It has a great range for a smaller library .. and that Diana book at the end of the video looked amazing! Would love to have seen you go through that page by page ✨🤍... Can't wait to check out some more of your videos. No doubt you'd be great at all types of ASMR - you're a natural! Thanks so much for taking out time to make these videos - they help us relax & unwind so much - they're heavenly! 💜🤍✨💫
Ahw yeah!!! Very happy to see & hear more library adventures of yours! The tapping is just sooooo good and satisfying, ughh, I don't know what it is about library books especially that make them sound so exquisite! 😩💞 Your way of tapping is just perfect too though honestly, and your whispered musings are such a cute and fun addition as well!
3:56 OMG I have that same toy story vhs at home (actually purchased from my local library lol) and I vividly remember watching it all the time as a kid and playing with the vhs cases 😂🤭
Just found your channel and as an avid reader I love the library concept. I'd assume that since the majority who read western books would be older people(not 100 percent but just a guess lol). So I'd assume that's why the print was so big. Anyways amazing video and looking forward to more. As for Stephen King his books are definitely hit or miss for me. My favorite of his is actually not a horror book called 11/22/63. If you like historical fiction I'd check it out.
Good point… sometimes when I’m filming I feel like I lose all critical thinking skills and I’m just saying things that have simple explanations lol And thank you for the rec!! I’m gonna see what that’s about! 😁😁❤️
VHS? i’ve never seen one person who ones a VHS player or anything like that!!(i wasn’t around during the VHS stuff so idk if it’s called a VHS player lol)

I’m only 25, but kids audiobooks used to come in kids’ meals at fast food places sometimes when I was a kid, and I loved listening to them. ☺️
I’m 19 and I remember that! Chick Fil A especially did it a lot
