Every living thing has a role to play in a much wider picture. Just putting back one bit of the puzzle reveals a larger picture. We can restore our planet if we all work together.
How do they compare to old English longhorn who are nearest we have alive today to the auroch?. We have old English longhorn in Epping Forest they look like Oxen..
Good question. One of the aspects being studied at Blean is exactly that - how they compare to longhorn cattle, which are already known as a suitable proxy for wild cows. Alongside the bison compartment in the wood there is a “near identical” longhorn cattle compartment with free-roaming longhorn cattle. Scientists will study how the bison area and the longhorn cattle area differ.
Happy to see UK rewilded. Guy sounds like South African, I'm from SA also👍🇿🇦
So exciting to see these beautiful animals. Well done to all involved.

This is one of the coolest channels I've seen in quite a while!!! Thank you so much for publishing this content!
So interesting! .What wonderful animals they are. It will be good to see the long term impact on increasing the bio-diversity of the woods
For a moment there I thought it had been introduced to Australia! Phew.
Update on how it's going?
