The stitching is beautifuL!! When I did cross-stitching, I ran my threads thru beeswax. It made them a little stiff and it was so much easier to keep the threads from twisting. Beautiful card!!!
Beautiful Cards so happy i found your channel to make my Spellbinders go farther. A TIP for your stitching you can cut your thread 18 inchs long fold in half but about every 3 - 4 stitches let your needle and thread hang down and untwist and your stitching with any thread will go easier and faster. Thank you for this tutorial.
Thank you so much! I think that's what I read on the DMC page too and I did cut my thread short and had to untangle after every 3 stitches, just like you suggest. Someone recommended beeswax and some other things I don't remember right now. I'll have to see where to find those in Germany! X
I was going to skip this months clubs until seeing your creations using the large and small dies. I love how creative you are. The cards are beautiful! Thank you for sharing your creativity!
Very nice! I have seen the metallic floss used to make bows for cards instead of stitching with it. That worked much better for me than stitching with it. I, like you, purchased several colors because it is so beautiful. I guess I will have lots of bows on my cards! Lol.
I just found your channel and I love the beautiful cards you make! I went to Spellbinders and ordered the Large & Small die combo for this month because of your card creations!! Thank you for the inspiration.
Great cards!! Again, I LOVE your color choices. And that metallic thread is SSOOO pretty but such a pain to use. I also look forward to seeing how you use the kits & can’t wait to get mine. I just can’t figure out why I live in the same town as Spellbinders & it takes 2wks for me to get my kits🤷🏻♀️ I hope you enjoy your holiday! Thanks for great content🥰 Oh and I think the white flowers are just perfect…they make everything pop!
Your cards are GORGEOUS...I appreciate your attention to detail. Love these cards ❤ 😍 💕 Your white florals are definitely your signature on cards. Any size or shape of cards are 👌 perfect!
Thank you so much 😍 I actually only started using white flowers a few months ago - with the color block slices dies I think - but I loved the look so much, I seem to do it often. I guess we all go through phases! 🙈
Gorgeous, gorgeous cards! I love slimline cards too and you showed how easy it is to make stunning cards in any size. Thank you so much for every wonderful video you make, I so appreciate it 🤩🌈
Awww you’re so sweet 🥰 Of course you could! For me the joy is in the making process. As much as I get attached to everything in my life, I don’t get attached to cards at all. Maybe I have too many of them 😂
I have most of these dies and have not used them….You inspired me to get them out and give it a try. I also appreciate your honesty about the thread….some products are almost more work than they are worth…thanks for the heads up!
But wait!!! A lot of ladies wrote tips about the thread, just read the comments on this video. Most suggested using beeswax. I'm going to try to find some here in Germany, and I definitely will try using this thread again because I bought too many beautiful colors! Thanks for watching! X
I too was going to skip this month's clubs. I couldn't see how I could use them differently. Now I can. I was torn between the small and large kit, but, hey, I think I will get both. Gorgeous cards.
You could try glueing the ends together of your DMC thread, maybe instant super glue. Your holes are pretty big, it might help. I’ve used that thread on fabric and it ravels on that, but the paper is rougher, maybe worse for raveling?
That's a great idea! Someone listed a few other things that work as well, one I remember was beeswax. I'll need to look into it once I'm back from holiday! Thank you! X
Wow.....the work that went into this card is phenomenal!! So totally worth it. This is an artwork of beautiful goodness. Whomever receives this card will treasure it. If I may please inquire, where did you purchase those gorgeous enamel dots?! Heartfelt thanks for this beautiful tutorial.
Thank you so much 🥰 Those glitter enamel dots I got from a friend in the US some years ago - in bulk, they don’t have any brand 🤔 I just googled, I saw Doodlebug has some, Pink and Main, Stampin Up too. Just google glitter enamel dots ❤️
I wonder how it would work for you to have a bunch of the backgrounds cut and when you are watching TV or something just start working on the stitching with colors you know you will want.
I totally do that :D What you guys don't see in the videos is my iPad in front of me! I'm always binge watching TV shows while I craft. Or sometimes I'm not in the mood to really create anything much, then I'll die cut some stitching designs and just sit down with those. I have a bunch of them that I still have to turn into cards. One day haha!
@@TheresaCalderini haha! K I still don’t know what you mean but I’ll go ahead and assume you mean the white plastic bobbins and metal rings? I’ve found those on Amazon UK. If that’s not what you mean, let me know 😂🥰
sent that too soon, I absolutely adore the rose centers for those hexagons. Well all of the floral arrangements are so pretty and perfect for each card. I am so glad to see that because I have those dies, just the layering hexagons, not the slim card background. But I will remember that look the next time I make mine. So pretty.
Oh my goodness. I love, love, love your style. I'm watching every video I can find. These cards are amazing. I love the white flowers... beautiful!
Hahaha you're too sweet! Thank you so much for being here XXX

Yes, other ladies suggested that too! I'll have to see where I can get it and then I'll certainly try! Thanks for the tip! X

I really love slimline cards, A2 as well. These cards are beautiful
Thank you so much! These two are definitely my most used formats! X
This card is a true work of art! I think I will see it in the Arts n Crafts Division at the National Art Gallery! No Joke…absolutely beautiful!
Haha! You're too funny! But I'm glad you like them! X
Beautiful cards! Thank you for the A2 bonus. You are very generous.

Hahaha! I’ll try that! Yeah they are so beautiful, it’s a shame they are impossible to stitch with. Or maybe I’m just not aware of some trick! 🙈
Great card. I have tried the metallic thread and said some words I didn’t even know I knew! So now I use it wadded up behind embellishments. TFS
Hahahaha! I’m so glad I’m not the only one! I know I’m crazy enough to try them again though, just because they are so beautiful 😂

Thank you! Your cards have inspired me! I so appreciate the way you create and your honesty in the voice overs.
Awww thanks so much for your kind words! ❤️ Voiceovers still terrify me, and when I’m nervous, I blabber. A lot. 🙈

Thanks so much! ❤️ What do you mean by DMC 10 in the holders? 🙈
Darn spell check……. Doc holder / set
