In addition, yes Yosemite is my most favorite place .. hopefully in like a month I’ll be making an epic road trip out west from West Virginia to South Dakota ( badlands and mt Rushmore) glacier Alaska crater lake Yosemite sequoia Joshua Tahoe Vegas Utah Colorado and a few other stops in between .. btw did the ice help cool the frig or u all figured out what was wrong with it ?
that trip sounds epic, we sadly didnt make it out to Rushmore but keen to go back. We miss the usa! Fridge was cooked, no idea why it kept tripping out with low voltage. We had to use ice the rest of the trip :/
You should go in april-May, the falls are at their peaks and sometimes they open the tioga pass in late May so you have access to Toulumne meadows and Wawona which have some amazing falls, lakes, and hikes and it's less populated...75% of visitors to Yosemite stay in the valley

Took me a few trips before I really did my research and etc. September, after labor day is also a great month to go- all the waterfalls in the valley will be dry but Tuolumne falls/Glen Aulin falls (same trail), and chilnualna falls are still flowing nicely. Tenaya lake is right off the road too.

Nice video! My husband and I are going next weekend and we are in between doing the Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point or Upper Yosemite Falls. It's so beautiful! Also, love your girlfriend's pink shorts! Where can I get a pair? 😁
Ohhh is the road still closed to glacier point? If so, I'd suggest Yosemite Falls as long as there is still water flowing. Without the pools it might not be worth it. Thanks for the comment and keep us posted what you decide and how you go 🙏 Christa got her pink shorts from Walmart 🤣 👌 enjoy!
I've also hiked and swam in the low water-level pools at the top of Yosemite Falls. It's neat, but I would offer a word of warning... be aware of the weather conditions miles up river. If there is an isolated rainstorm up river, it could result in a flash flood downstream, and potentially sweep any bathers over the edge of the waterfall.
Awesome video!! But when did you guys go? I’ve never seen the water flow in Upper Falls this weak which is why I’ve never seen those beautiful pools. That would be an epic and refreshing swim!!
that was in the end of July, we really were super lucky with warm weather, and flowing waterfalls still in action. Was one of the best moments of our trip :)

Just went june 9th when tioga pass opened up the next day and merced river rafting! All the falls were raging and awesome!

@@escapewithct makes sense, we just got back from an early June trip and all the falls were PUMPING.
Might not be true in the bigger cities (due to homeless problems), but camping overnight in Walmart parking lots is done all of the time in my area.
