If you look at it there's actually fire coming out of his left hand. Its not that he's using ice with his left its just that its frozen over.
The ice is just because he froze that side near the beginning of the anime to avoid using his left side.

Alright, I've had a little look, and NightcoreGalaxy definitely did do this mashup first as a nightcore. Both videos are a nightcored version of TheSamTsiu mashup. Either way, all three videos are great
