- Judo and BJJ black belt Anthony Mantanona shows several options from side control, including the spinning armlock, the Kimura, and a strong choke if they block the bent armlock attempt. These techniques are good for BJJ, MMA, and submission grappling.

Great instructions thx
Great details oss
Outstanding content
This guy, Anthony, is so precise. Really awesome stuff
Pop, cut, step, windshield wipe. Oss!
I really love your method of isolating the near arm. This is to often neglected and your approach is definitely something I’m going to try!
i really like that kimura counter detail
Fantastic instruction here, dig the chaining work as it helps to put it into concepts rather than specific technique.
Polentaccio we are glad you enjoyed the video!
Love your style! great videos and content! thank you kindly! OSS!
Good sir
good demo
Love the channel, this is probably one of the best videos I have seen on seen on sequential side control attacks, especially adjustments against common defences (particularly liked how u clear when the elbow is in, great detail). Would you ever consider doing a similar one on mount and back attacks, as I know I personally struggle at times against someone with tight defence?
Awesome 😎 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow. Just wow
Amazing combination...just getting back on the mats...can't wait to run through this routine...I love the combinations....to me as a fresh blue belt 💙 it's where my game 🎮 really starts to grow
Nice. I've seen trapping the arm on the windshield wipers but never from the far leg. We'd always clear the elbow and force it down with the close arm and body weight then pin it with the leg. The windshield wiper. Nice, and I liked stepping on the bicep.
Impressive...
great footwork clearing the arms
also clean instructions
All these moves are my favorite to chain
cuttin', steppin' windshield wipin'
that bicep step is clutch, very useful to stop them turning into you
Indeed it is!
@@cvbjjonline8919 saw you on a blackbelt video with Roy dean today you are the man. Speedy recovery as well
Do you guys have a name I could look up or some tips for that second to last choke? It's the one in the thumbnail where you're almost north south dragging them back. I catch that occasionally if I'm losing the back, but have trouble finishing it. Love the channel and watching you in Pure Rolling 2! Hope you're back to training soon.
Man, I am still getting schooled in a position I really thought I had come close to exhausting.
At this moment th-cam.com/video/wpi1Xauu_vA/w-d-xo.html why do you need to roll. Can you just slide the left knee/leg underneath the opponent?
That poor blue belt hahahaha.
