Congratulations! We recently closed on our new home in SMA. We think you may have rented in the complex where we bought - Capilla de Piedra. We received our Temporary Residency cards on our most recent stay last month in our new home, and we started furnishing it. We are back on Maui as we need to sell our home here and then "wade into retirement" right after we sell.
You all are adorable ! Thank you for sharing! I'm considering a retirement home in San Miguel! Right now I am in research phase.. I look forward to more of your videos!
Thanks for getting us caught up. Deciding what to bring is a big decision and then figuring out how your going to get it there. We didn't bring any big stuff just some car loads to clothing, kitchen stuff and a few other things Paulette couldn't live without. -Marc
i moved over 20 years ago and came with two suitcases. i rented a home and had my furniture built and I was fine. You can get custom things built for excellent prices. I live in the same state as SMA...it is just an hour and a half from me. Welcome!
For beds in Mexico, the best brand is LUNA, we have a sleep number bed here in the states but LUNA is better, a little expensive but worth the money 👌🏼they have a store in Queretaro but they deliver in San Miguel.
Congratulations and welcome!
Thank you!

We did rent in Capilla! So nice to meet you virtually. We may have to have a non-virtual drink someday!
@WadingIntoRetirement That would be great! My wife Dawn and I will reach out when we return some time around October.

I assume that is why you were brought along? LOL!

Rất là tuyệt vời cảm ơn anh đã chia sẻ video rất hay chúc chúc anh buổi tối nhiều sức ❤❤❤❤❤
That would be a lot of work for only a year. And I mean bringing your bed taking theirs out and all that. If you were buying that would make sense.
I agree! A bed is something we might miss, but not something worth the effort to bring.

Good to know. We don't plan on bringing furniture, but there are a few kitchen gadgets that may find their way into the suitcases.

We found things a little to expensive in all Mexico for us. No thanks.
Thanks for the comment!
