How to read Prague Astronomical Clock - SHORT and EASY explanation from a real Prague guide

- In this video, Vaclav will teach you how to read Prague Astronomical Clock, step by step.
You will learn how to read the Old Czech Time, Old German Time, Babylonian Time, and Vaclav will also tell you a little about the Sidereal Time.
You will also learn why is it called the Astronomical Clock and which heavenly bodies it shows us.
At the end of the video, you will see how to read the calendar on the clock.
This is not a full explanation, there are some things we won't cover in this video, but it is so far the most detailed explanation you can find on TH-cam.
Also, this video was made for people who travel to Prague, not for astronomers :) Don't expect a scientific explanation.

Perhaps you might like to do a video about the current controversy about the clock, namely that the person who restored the clock recently made major changes to many of the artworks on the clock and these changes fundamentally deviated from the original artworks eg changing the gender of one lady.

That clock is an amazing piece of engineering, nice flat earth model, we are not going in expansion through "space" at 500,000 miles an hour :) this world we live in is a wounderful creation!

Listening to flat Earthers is as amusing as listening to stories of ancient cultures who kept trying to justify an earth-centric model by adding more and more and more complex mechanisms.
Of course NASA went back in time 500 years to build a dome with unknown tech to fool the ancient clockmakers. They had the technology to do all this, but not land on the moon 🤣🤣🤣

Research of Gleason's Flat Earth map has brought me to research the Prague Astronomical Clock. The latitudes and longitudes match the 24 analog clock. It's no wonder they want us to us 12 hour analog clock then further convolute things by introducing daylight savings time. It's all a racket. More people are waking up.
The clock time isn’t wrong our Time is wrong each zodiac represents 2147.66 years the original map also showed other lands. It takes over 25,772 years for the clock to complete a full cycle

Seems like during the 2018 restoration of the clock, many of the figures/characters on the clock-calendar (the lower section) were changed drastically. Wonder what will be the next step to remedy this, if any.
Wow, they continue to try to destroy the truths of our world. The Earth is not spinning. It's a stationary plane. No wonder they do day light savings to further convolute the truth.

Hello Jeff. The netting is a protection from birds. Sometimes they take it off, especially when they film something in Prague and the clock is part of the film set.

This clock is for flat earth not a globe. As originally intended, designed & use of its practical application.
After the great reset it was revised and now has that globe that makes 0 logical sense by all measures of the clock. It’s elliptical shape which differs from all other astronomical clocks having shorter sections is because winter has shorter days.
Daylights saving time is a man made thing ment to keep you from living our realms true sidereal time
And Polaris has not moved. Ever.
It's so sick how all these astronomical things happen around us, and people figure out precise ways to represent it through a unique lens (in this case a double clock). Is it true the creator was blinded after? 😂

Why do flat earthers use this as proof when there is clearly a globe printed on the face of the clock?
Because they completely changed one of the dials on the clock and it originally used a Azimuthal Equidistant map, which was depicted as a flat earth. The clock was apparently first restored in 1866 and has been redone four times since.
Though I doubt most people do the simple research one way or the other. Like yourself, you could have easily answered your own question within three minutes of research but didn’t.
I personally, don’t know what they earth truly looks like, simply because I’ve never been to outer space.
Sadely this clock has been modernized. It is not the original.
It dates back to 1410. Parts of its inner mechanism are still original. Barely anything that faces outside conditions (rain, wind, snow) lasts without restorations and changes. The clock is still amazing 🤩
You have no idea what that clock really is
The point is, in past peoples have no clocks, but just sun. They woke up with sun and so on.
So it doesnt matter in historical point if view how this semi- historical clock works :-D
prague clocks is actually a map itself. it look very similiar to our plasma moon. You re not literally explain the truth, indeed you made it up or your some of your literature is made up. Cz the dont want us to know
