hey Amazing explanation!!!! can you show us how to create other boards like Inspiration board , concept/theme board.it would be really helpful if you show us that. And yes!! all the best girl :)
Hi Pauline, nice idea. Nature has so much that can inspire us, colors, shapes, textures etc etc is just beautiful. at the moment I am working on a different project but I will save this for a later time. Thank you :)
Hey there Pihu Yadav, This is a great topic and extremely popular at the moment so you find many articles and blogs about it. If you are looking into visual inspiration ( I am guessing so as this video is about a visual moodboard) I would recommend you have a look on Pinterest, more specifically on their 100 trends as one of them is called "Conscious Consumption" and basically talks about those 2 topics, the power of nature and sustainability. www.pinterest100.com/en-us/conscious-consumption/ You will find what is popular across the world in those two topic and for each you can search images that can help you get to the moodboard you want. I also recommend you to get involved in a Facebook group related to sustainability as is a great platform to search for great articles and share opinions. In terms of images you can also look for photographers that focus in these topics, I personally like to use Instagram to find these, hashtags can be a blessing ahahaha. Lastly feel free to check my website, the link is in the bio of this video :) as I try to speak about different subjects on Sustainability in my blog. I hope you are well and safe.
hi! i’m supposed to create a mood board based on my own design collection and my inspiration is victoria beckham but i’m so lost, is there anything u can recommend? thank u!!
Yes of course! Well start by gathering a couple of images from her / her style / her work and see what they have in common. Note: have a limit so you don’t end up loosing 5 hours on it 😂 you will see that they will have a sort of pattern that really speak to you, it could be her sharp lines or sober Colors but you will find something that they share… then start the moodboard process with those 🙏🏼 Hope this helps
Hey there, follow the steps on this video, I really think that it will help you get out of your head and start building this great moodboard. Renaissance is super rich with so much that you can explore and my interpretation can be so different from yours and that's whats special about art. - brainstorm the key words that come to your mind when you think about it - collect imagery, artwork, aesthetics, decor, put them together and you will start seeing a pattern that makes since to you, follow that. let me know how it goes ;) good luck
Hi Rose, In this video I was using a Staedtler pen is a German brand and they are very popular for this sort of work and I personally really like it, is my number one option. For this I like to use tracing paper, sketch pens like the one I just mentioned to you above and a simple sketch book. I hope this helps :)
Castelhanos Ooh! I’ve used a pen from this brand once and I loved it; I told myself I’d look into them again, but haven’t. Thanks so much for responding and reminding me.
Hello, hope you can help me ,I am making my mood board inspired by the louvre museum or pyramid, but I'm not knowing how to make it,can you plz help meee
Hi, I am so sorry for the late reply. Its has been a very busy year. How did it go? Honestly I would take a few photos online, print them and start writting next to it anyhting that pops to my head when I look at it, then I will try to learn a bit more about it, architects etc and add that info to the brainstorming and lastly I would start sketching some patterns and shapes that stand out from those photos. You will start getting a visual from all of those peices of information. Hope this helps
Hey i have a project to make mood board, theme board, concept board and illustrate garments based on them, my theme is greek godesses. Do you have any suggestions on what i should keep in mind and add in them according to the theme ?
Hey Insiya, Once again inspiration is very subjective so my "version of Greek goddesses" might be very different from yours so I will try to help you without interfering in your vison. I would say: 1 - follow the steps in this video - you will see that by just writing down words that come to your head while thinking of the inspiration will help you start defining it 2 - travel to Greece, yes if you do have the chance to physically travel there than 100% go and take pictures of everything that inspires you but you can totally do this by reading a book on Greece, watching a documentary, travel vlogs, what are the smells, shapes, colors, moods they describe etc 3 - learn about mythology specifically Greek, try to search for the same things as above (colors, mood, shapes etc) and translate that to visual (sketches etc) 4 - lastly try not to go the easy road and make it obvious, this theme has been visited so many times that is hard to stand out so look in deeper and let your imagination flow. I hope this helped, Good luck.
