Who would've thought I'd have this much fun studying Revelation??? It's always scared me, but actually sitting and going through it, there are soooo many gems in here! I love Rev 3:19-20. We have such a loving Father. He chastens us because He loves us. Knocking at the door wanting to come in. Maaaannn....#Slayed 😭😭😭

I love this so much, Jess! YES - fun studying Revelation! Look at God! I said at the beginning that it is SUCH a trick of the enemy to steer people away from this book when it is filled with SO MUCH goodness! Those verses you pointed out are a perfect example. So so good! Praise God for the way He's meeting you as you study this book.
@@kimcashtate Yessssss. I've had so much fun studying the Bible in general recently. After I finished the cling studies, I went on to 1 and 2 Kings, which I just finished a few days ago. I've just been having a ton of fun lol.

Kim - my soul sister and I have been studying the New Testament for almost a year. We are now on Revelation. You came up in my search and I have listened to first 3 chapters. I love your insight and delivery and feel as thought the Holy Spirit led me to you. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

Learning what the word says about these seven churches (or us) has been a blessing. We can find ALL of these behaviors in any church we attend ( or in us). 🥴 The last church made me think of Psalm 20: Some trust in chariots, others in horses but we trust in the Lord our God. The Laodiceans were not clothe in Christ, they talked the talk but didn’t walk the walk? THEY thought they were so great, high and mighty had it all together.
BUT baby once they get some Jesus salve on those kitten eyes oh boy. Once was blind but now I see. Really good lesson on faith and being authentic Amen

Thank you for the lesson. Revelation is so beautiful because it shows exactly who Jesus is in all his glory and magnificence. He alone is worthy to judge us. He is giving us time to come to him before the door is permanently closed.

I too love Revelation, the book from Jesus Christ Himself, wiith the most wondrous message for all believers forever, "Jesus Wins!" I was hoping that you would talk more about chapter 1 verse 6. I would value your opinion. The verse speaks of all people having been washed clean in the blood of Jesus to be kings and priests. It is noticeable that this does not exclude women and we know that believing women are washed clean as well as men. Kings have authority and priests the right to preach. Yet many bible teachers consistently quote Paul's letters saying that no woman has authority nor may preach. However, Revelation was written many years after Paul's letters for every believer, not just those in Corinth etc. and by Jesus Christ Himself. What are your thoughts on these points? Does verse 6 mean that women are now able to have authority and may preach?
Verse 3:21 brings tears to my eyes. He is stand at the door and all we have to do is just open it. 😢

The things we are to heed per chapter 1, is to line up ourselves to these rebukes and decide if we need to leave the churches we are in because they are not really of Christ. There are some in the false churches that need to come out. That’s why he says to those who have ears to hear, in addition to realizing Jesus is talking about he churches of today. These 7 are types of all churches all the time, in the present at all times. Unless you’re in a Holy Spirit filled and gifted church, you need to get out.

Hi i am from pune India and always see video and at present i am trying to understand bible but once i to chat with and wanted to ask you few questions
I have maybe a dumb question, but around 21:00, you mention Matthew 7 21-23, which to me sounds like it’s saying believing in Him isn’t enough, but other parts of the Bible I’ve read, it says your works are not what get you into heaven , it’s your faith & believing in Him. ?

How many other things could Jesus be doing, including running the universe, but He CHOSES to stand at the door of our hearts and knock. What??? Put a clarifying spin on it Kim!!! His Word is always new.

We must repent. Churches neglected the poor, the crippled, the sick, the lost people, the refugees,,,people have turned selfish love of loving idols like cars, money, and things. People were taking selfies to gratify themselves as God. Humble yourselves and treat those in dire needs such as Syrian refugees with love of Christ. Then God will take away our sins away from us and give us lasting peace again. God promised and He keeps his promise as he did about Jesus' coming to save the world in Isiah 53(...still many Jews don't believe it). And Jesus promised that He is the way the truth and life and that our repentance will allow us, the Holy Spirit that will guide us to the end times. Yet many people are still blinded by false prophets and witnesses. Only Jesus' witnesses are willing to testify to their death and never deny the love of God who invite all who believe in Jesus the eternal life and forgiveness when we repent.
