You're lucky you didn't get told off by security! I suppose you got away with it because you started on floor 2, instead of the ground floor. These are 1990's Schindlers, mod by KONE in 2013. The indicator you can see above the doors is the original Schindler indicator. The lights you mention are also from the original Schindler lifts. The lift doors were repainted in 2013, when KONE replaced the controllers, COP's and fixtures. The doors used to be dark blue. Did you see the other lift half way down the shopping centre? It's also a KMS (Kone Modded Schindler) - the only difference is it's just a single lift, and it doesn't stop at 1.
You're right that they're Kone mods, but you're thinking of Queensmere! Queensmere is the one with the Kone modded Express lifts. This is the Observatory.

These lifts are not ecodisc they are Kone Mods as they were 1990's Schindler's originally
