For cotton candy I don’t use extracts I use the flossine or floss sugar in the cartons because if u have a CC machine that has a screen on the side with lots of tiny holes that the melted or hot sugar goes through if u put the wrong ingredient in those machines it can cause a severely clogged up screen which in turn can cause a malfunction on your heat elements and replacing those parts is quite expensive now if you have a machine that when the sugar is melted and while it’s spinning it comes out the top of the hole that u put ur sugar in that would probably be ok but read your machines owners manual and watch you tube videos the guy that used flavoring extracts has the machine where the fluff comes out the top not the sides if u don’t have that kind of machine I wouldn’t use it!!! I’ve learnt most of what I know by reading all the manuals on my three different machines and trial n error mostly but that is not something u want to do with a more expensive machine or even trying it on one that has the heating coils that sit just inside the screen or mesh where the candy comes out at if u have any other questions I would be more than happy to try to help u out!!!!
