Harbor Freight cheap air compressor fix

Brand new but wont exceed 60 psi. Here's the problem component and how it can be made to function correctly. I should add that the two screws holding then rubber piece to the pump housing are super glued in place and will strip or break before coming loose so that's why they're still attached.

Well now I have to DX the problem of the motor not starting up after reassembly.
Doh!
