hey NL you should never end a turn above 0 gold, gold doesn't carry over and you can freeze any unit or item you want while rolling off the rest of the gold

My highest has been 7-4 (7 battle wins, 4 losses), RNG has not been on my side 💀, every time I decide on a comp to build around I immediately stop drawing those animals, then I come across someone with a full horse/dog build or a 26/24 rhino out front… PAIN
@@Tanzklaue You forget that merging buffed units will carry over the buffs too. A shop unit buffed by the canned food that merges with a unit you already have will add the buff too.

If you have, say, a giraffe in the shop that's huge because of buying a bunch of canned food; then you buy it and merge it with a small giraffe you already own that doesn't have any buffs; your new unit will be the size of the huge giraffe +1,+1. I suppose units don't actually COMBINE buffs when they get merged, but they take the largest.
It's mind melting that NL doesn't realize you can roll your remaining gold and freeze a unit for next turn. I've never played this game before and I realized it in the 1st video.
I'm liking and commenting to show that damn, do I want you to play this more. If this had an offline mode, I'd be playing it non-stop, but my internet is sketchy so I have to watch you.
I do have a few tips for you. Reroll with your leftover gold for possible freeze targets. Also you start with 10 gold you can reroll turn one to get a better 3 animal comp then just the 3 offered
Another tip worth noting: buffs that say "end turn -> give x/x" that happen in the SHOP screen are permanent. For example the giraffe; when you end the shop screen the giraffe buffs the unit in front permanently. This is different than something like the flamingo which buffs on death; buffs given during battle are not permanent. So units like giraffe, bison, penguin, etc are good scalers.
Downloaded this game after the stream and got 2 full 10/10 wins. Using all gold available is very useful and not pivoting from one strategy to another midrun helps too.

Been playing this game since yesterday after your video and the game is ridiculously difficult to get the 10 wins, got 1 win then uninstall immediately because its too addicting. From my experience horse-dog/shark-peacock is never good enough to get 10 wins (mostly because peacock and shark comes too late), elephant-camel-kangaroo will often roll until 7-8 wins and fall off hard. The build i ran was focused on food and buff with 1 huge buffed pig with like 50atk 50 hp(supposedly worm but.. its.. lvl 3 pig for me, dont judge me), crab behind it, rabbit to buff with food, monkey to buff the pig, and 1 extra animals, for me it was rhino thinking that its going to be the carry, but hell no, nobody can pass through huge buffed tank + crab. The game is hard
I got rekt by this dude's combo. If you can get it, absolutely play it, it's disgusting. He played Deer, Whale, turkey, parrot, tiger. If you look up their abilities, you'll see what I mean
Deer gets eaten by Whale at the start, summons a bus. Turkey gives it +3/+3 or more at higher levels, parrot copies turkey twice bc tiger. Bus gets at least +9/+9 with splash attack. Bus dies, Whale dies. Deer comes back with +9/+9. Deer dies. Bus comes back +9/+9

They show up in battle with free players, but if you know what you're doing you can win with a free comp as well.

it is good, but only if you intent to get new units. usually you do, but it can be hard to slot in.
canned food + cat is very legit though.
