I hope her plans in the future are for her to write her own songs with possible help from other songwriters. I don’t think she wants to be just a vocalist that has people write songs for her I think songwriting is too important to her as her songs are personal and come from her journals and she has said that she has anlr written over 100 songs.

Auch wenn er keine Ahnung hatte, wer da gerade neben ihm sitzt!! :D In den kommenden Jahren wird er sich dieses Interview angucken und denken, hätte ich doch mal EIN WENIG mehr Recherche betrieben vorher.... Aber am Ende, als der Chat ihn sozusagen mit der Nase drauf gestoßen hat, entwickelte er doch noch etwas mehr Interesse an ihr. For those of you wondering about the look of the video, quite a number of Livestream viewers had issues with the color of the video for some reason when the Livestream started. The color of the video did not change back to normal until probably 45 minutes to 1 hour in to the Live, possibly even longer, from what I saw from the chats. James and I had this issue and there was nothing we could do. Amazon Music may replay The Ivors according the the host, so we'll see. The interview was really interesting. Angelina got caught a little off guard with the question about what was the first song she ever wrote. Does anyone know what that song was? 🤔🤔🤔
I don’t think we really know what the first song she wrote was. She may not even remember as she seemed a little caught off guard. It might be something she hasn’t recorded and maybe never will. On her It’s Magic album there were two originals. What Is Life and Oslo. She recorded them at 11 but exactly when they were written we don’t know. Even before Million Miles she also wrote and released Shield.

For those of you wondering about the look of the video, quite a number of Livestream viewers had issues with the color of the video for some reason when the Livestream started. The color of the video did not change back to normal until probably 45 minutes to 1 hour in to the Live, possibly even longer, from what I saw from the chats. James and I had this issue and there was nothing we could do. Amazon Music may replay The Ivors according the the host, so we'll see. The interview was really interesting. Angelina got caught a little off guard with the question about what was the first song she ever wrote. Does anyone know what that song was? 🤔🤔🤔

I don’t think we really know what the first song she wrote was. She may not even remember as she seemed a little caught off guard. It might be something she hasn’t recorded and maybe never will.
On her It’s Magic album there were two originals. What Is Life and Oslo. She recorded them at 11 but exactly when they were written we don’t know.
Even before Million Miles she also wrote and released Shield.

According to Wikipedia, that's a music publisher, which is also explained in an article. My understanding is, that music publishers handle the intellectual property regarding the song itself, while record labels deal with the recordings. So, maybe simplified, Angelina is signed to Republic Records as singer, while she might have tasked Sony Music Publishing with handling her rights as a songwriter.
