I think as Mothers we feel that there are certain things we HAVE to do for our families. Sometimes we are so excited to do those things, but on the flip side there are times when it just feels like more chores. Some years are like that and I bet you’ll feel more Christmassy next year!

This year we got to see a lot of family we haven’t seen in a while and it just felt like such a huge blessing. I think that made it feel special. I did also take my decor down just a few days after Christmas lol. I get over stimulated easily so although I love the decor and what it represents… I was ready to get my house back! lol
I decorate for every holiday. Last year I started decorating my flocked tree for the different holiday. I do pink lights and heart bulbs for valentines day and st. Patrick's day I do green lights and green bulbs. The kids love it
Every mom can relate to this Christmas chaos !!! I took my tree down Christmas Day at 11am !! Everything else came down the 26th! Now I have a lot of white snowflakes all over the place !!! Simple but nice !!

I took my Christmas down yesterday. I already started decorating for Valentines Day. I got some regular house decor at Hobby Lobby and got a few pieces. Still have a lot of unpacking to do. I love winter and fall. In Arizona, it was summer year round, but in Ohio, we have 4 seasons. Supposed to snow the rest of the week. Have a great and happy New Years. ❤🎉
This video was sooo fun!!!!! I wanted to let you know… I put off getting a flocked tree for years because of the mess… until this year I found one at lowes it’s the balsam hill snowy pine the classics. It seriously does not make a mess like the regular flocked trees. It’s like stuck on there 🤷♀️It maybe had 10 pieces of small flock on the floor since I put it up in November!!! And it’s beautiful!!
Good morning! With your lack of utility room, I highly recommend getting one of those plant pot litter boxes with a fake or real plant on top. I’ve had mine over 10 years. Helps hold in the litter and the smell and looks great in the corner of my bathroom
Definitely felt that Christmas felt different I think even my kids felt that idk why. I also took all Christmas down the day after Christmas lol I always leave it up until after January 6 and I couldn’t do it this year so excited for a new year I had extreme hard postpartum depression and my body went throw a lot this time after pregnancy and giving birth . I’m really trying to give my body grace but it’s been a rough 4 months and praying 2025 is an easier year financially mentally physically and emotionally! Happy new year year!!🎉
Beautiful home! We use fabreeze litter but buy the 4 pack from sams. I only have 1 cat and I have my daughter clean the litter box out (the droppings) every day with walmart bags. She changes the whole litter box once a week. We line the litter box with litter box bags, makes changing it very simple.

I use to use fresh step litter but now I use pretty litter. I love it. It never smells. You change it out once a month. Sometimes I go longer. I get it delivered automatically to the house. I too have those waffle mats. It still gets tracked. It’s a little more expensive per bag but in the long run I feel less expensive because it lasts a month or more. I also have 2 cats.

My snowmen are the last to go though😊I’m doing some cleaning for my daughter today as she is in Texas with her husband and his family. I think your wedding picture is nice! I say leave it out so you can enjoy it and if you want a bigger footprint over the tv (which I agree with you, it needs), add two smaller prints, offset on each side, that coordinate and that you love! 😊
I don't typically decorate for other holidays, besides Christmas. But my 6 year old loves it, so this year I will decorate for all the holidays. I just got a heart shaped tier tray from Dollar Tree, and will get a few little things to go on it, too.
Firstly, great video! I needed this today! Christmas was not super Christmasy here either. I thought it was just because it's our first away from all our family but maybe not since a lot have felt like that this year. I do decorate for winter, I leave the pine our and do lots of wooden decor like snowflakes. I take out all the red for my winter decor. Can't wait to see all the Sonic bday decor, my 9yo loves Sonic! Also, I had the same realization about my daughter turning 12 next week! It speaks up on you!

Your cats are adorable!! I have two cats and have struggled with the litter box smell. I too love the fresh step litter with febreeze. I scoop it once a day and sprinkle vibrant life deodorizer in the lavendar scent(walmart) and change out/clean the box every 2 weeks:) Thanks for the cleaning motivation!!
I do both winter and Valentines together the start of January and around January 15th I take out winter and leave valentines. By January 15th I’m ready for winter to be over and Spring to arrive ☃️⛄️❤

Christmas came way too early this year long before I was really ready for it to. I think it’s because Thanksgiving was later in November than usual. Also here in Texas it has been so incredibly warm. We really didn’t get Fall until the first week of December. So that was enough to keep it from feeling like Christmas for me. 🤷♀️

I decorate for winter with pine and snow flakes and what not. I even keep up my biggest tree that looks like winter. I take down the santa and reindeer and grinch stuff and my 2 other xmas trees that are more xmas than winter

I use to use fresh step litter but now I use pretty litter. I love it. It never smells. You change it out once a month. Sometimes I go longer. I get it delivered automatically to the house. I too have those waffle mats. It still gets tracked. It’s a little more expensive per bag but in the long run I feel less expensive because it lasts a month or more. I also have 2 cats.

Great video today❤️😀👍I’m taking my Christmas decorations down a little bit at a time. My snowmen are the last to go though😊I’m doing some cleaning for my daughter today as she is in Texas with her husband and his family. I have presents under the tree yet for them so I’ll be leaving the tree up till they come over to open presents. I do decorate for Valentine’s Day just a little bit.
I love the idea of taking things down slowly! It helps with the post-Christmas blues 😊
Happy last Monday of the year sweety it took me 6 hours last week to take down my Christmas decorations and rearrange my living room I wasn't really in the holiday mood this year it was the first one since my mom passed away have a blessed New Year 🎉🎇🤟🙏😺

Christmas just wasn't Christmas in the least to me this year. I went through the motions, and that's about it. I finished putting at my Christmas decor away in my garage yesterday, and it feels nice. I like the emptiness in my house now. Lol. I don't leave anything related to Christmas or winter out. You made your kitties so happy with their tree. Lol. They are both so sweet. I think your wedding picture is nice! I say leave it out so you can enjoy it and if you want a bigger footprint over the tv (which I agree with you, it needs), add two smaller prints, offset on each side, that coordinate and that you love! 😊
I don't typically decorate for other holidays, besides Christmas. But my 6 year old loves it, so this year I will decorate for all the holidays. I just got a heart shaped tier tray from Dollar Tree, and will get a few little things to go on it, too.

Christmas was not super Christmasy here either. I thought it was just because it's our first away from all our family but maybe not since a lot have felt like that this year.
I do decorate for winter, I leave the pine our and do lots of wooden decor like snowflakes. I take out all the red for my winter decor.
Can't wait to see all the Sonic bday decor, my 9yo loves Sonic! Also, I had the same realization about my daughter turning 12 next week! It speaks up on you!

Good morning, beautiful friend. ❤ My husband and I don’t exchange gifts, we just buy something we want off of Amazon lol. I am in no rush for Spring here in TX bc I hate all of the bugs 😩, plus we haven’t really had cold weather yet. Ask me again in February, though. 😅 I love Valentine’s decorations, but no one would see them bc nobody comes over here except our parents. I’m looking forward to seeing yours bc you always decorate so cute.

Your cats are adorable!! I have two cats and have struggled with the litter box smell. I too love the fresh step litter with febreeze. I scoop it once a day and sprinkle vibrant life deodorizer in the lavendar scent(walmart) and change out/clean the box every 2 weeks:) Thanks for the cleaning motivation!!

I do both winter and Valentines together the start of January and around January 15th I take out winter and leave valentines. By January 15th I’m ready for winter to be over and Spring to arrive ☃️⛄️❤

Christmas came way too early this year long before I was really ready for it to. I think it’s because Thanksgiving was later in November than usual. Also here in Texas it has been so incredibly warm. We really didn’t get Fall until the first week of December. So that was enough to keep it from feeling like Christmas for me. 🤷♀️

Hey Marie, how cute your fur babies and there cat tree, I wish I could get one for my 2 fur babies, but I don't have the space, maybe when we move to our bigger place, I received a pair of pajamas, there so cute and were unexpected so it was a great surprise lol,, me too I was so ready to take everything down, I took everything down on the 26th lol, my birthday is on the 27th so I didn't want to see it for another day lol, sad cuz I love Christmas but I want to excited about it this year maybe cuz I'm constantly overwhelmed being a single mother of 2 toddlers, but they definitely enjoyed it and that's all that counts,I didn't decorate for Valentine's Day cuz it's so short that to me it's but worth it, I do make my babies a small basket filled with dollar t tree goodies, I use the pretty litter, it's the crystals, holds smell pretty good, I change it out every 2 weeks, so cozy and beautiful, great video, happy new year Marie,❤️

I decorate for winter with pine and snow flakes and what not. I even keep up my biggest tree that looks like winter. I take down the santa and reindeer and grinch stuff and my 2 other xmas trees that are more xmas than winter

I'm sorry! Eric has been laid off every other week around Christmas. He is supposed to go back to work after the new year.
My kids are older now so there wasn’t much excitement with Christmas. I need to get used to it so I’m not so emotional next year.
We opened gifts with our 5 kids Dec 21 then went out of town and my house is still completely in disarray
