you could represent either in a court case and win, that was very helpful especially the part about gradually feeling less melancholic as you age that was a rare but uniquely accurate description of how ive come to prefer music according to mood, circumstance or environment, there is so much to be sad about as a young person but as you age do you think its becoming comfortable with yourself or the will to change things larger than yourself has faded, cos grime and drill music are different but they too rap about their daily lives just as the sound scape paints a scenery around the ambient echoes so im curious what your thoughts are and if youve ever compared music to cymatics and sonic levetation as a means of observing sound do more than excite the ears, you can drill granite with sound so what it does to aetheric body not to mention the physical and nervous system with all its energy meridians. sound is the greatest healer and good music played at the right time is like a rhetoric for pursuading emotional happenings within the body like relaxation and bliss the moment you turn on noise cancelling headphones. Detroit techno is more than just about this fantastic silky electric soul sound. A harder sound can be found on labels like UR, etc. So let's not typecast it as one thing, when it's actually techno, where experimentation and cutting edge is still part of its essence.
*Detroit:* for me is like chilling with friends and enjoying a sunset with a cold one. *Berlin:* is getting lost in the music and dancing 5 hours straight in an abandoned bunker. sure at first you drink some alcohol to start but at the end you are only high on the music if you know what i mean
I know exaclty what u mean, i was on a class trip no one wants to go in the club with me so i went alone to "Tresor" and it was the best night in my life. Just loud music and a verry relaxed atmosphere.

@@Reliktkummer Tresor is awesome all fogged out and loud nice music

Detroit, Berlin, it's all gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
56:30 though 🖤🖤🖤
I only recently found out that Detroit was the birth of Techno and I really like the beats. You just wouldn’t think it because US seemed to be lagging in catching onto techno and dance in general during the 90s. Spring Break could have really done with an Ibiza equivalent back then!
Techno music grew out of European electronic music from the 1970s and 1980s. Influences included Germany's Kraftwerk
@@lovisglinka- Yup, Techno is from Detroit - people like Juan Atkins was influenced by groups such as Kraftwerk

The best music is that makes you feel vibes and penetrates your soul, brain and body no matter of a style or a genre.
