That lady was in the russian empire in the 1800's and did have 69 children with one dude, the family lived on a farm and the children were raised as farmers, but a little bit later the husband divorced her and had 20 or so other kids with another lady.
If that's the case I'm guessing he divorced her cuz she couldn't have any more kids and he wanted more. I know a guy who liked to date 15-year old girls get them pregnant go back to the old ones and get them pregnant again and pick a new one and get them pregnant he had seven kids by the time he was 22 and didn't take care of any of them. I only know about this bastard because he got my 15 year old little sister pregnant. And after she lost the baby weight tried to go back to her when his current girlfriend was 6 months pregnant and she was also 15.
the Vietnam government only used to encourage parents to have 2 kids, there's actually no rules or laws that's against you having more than 2 kids (except for people who are working for the government).
I’m a Vietnamese, and about 2 kids policy, it’s just an encouragement for families to keep their own life in control. Because in the past we were poor and didnt have good enough financial & public ultilities condition. But 1 sad truth is, poor families more likely to have more children, then become poorer. i cannot explain but this problem would lead to poverty. So the 2-children program educated us to be more responsible for not only inviduals but also community. In the beginning, government started with some limit policies applied to its staff, just about slowing the salary raise and lower the max possible rank. Now the economy is better, and people generally have better awareness. So the 2-children now is just a reminder in our mind hhhh.
Curious how a "bad" country like vietnam worries enough about their people to do those programs. There have to be limits in terms of "liberty", as in the U.S there are parents who have more than 4 children, and they don't even worry enough for taking care of them properly.
@@XY_BERSERKI don't know about Vietnam, but that's the main issue for Brazil. There are programs that go to schools to teach about condoms, risk of pregnancy, all that and also government issued safety products at hospitals and stuff like that. But yeah, being poor and ignorant (not talking in an offending way, just matter-of-factly) can lead to people to really not understand protection and it's importance. Or, worse yet, what sex even is, which can lead to the consequences being realized too late.

Yeah, but unfortunately for her Men have the advantage over women in terms of maximum children possible. Unfortunately for the average man women have the advantage of having more kids on average then men do. Reason for the second point is there will always be more men in this world that die childless than there will be women dying childless. The differences between these averages, of course, are very small, but women do have a slightly more average than men do. Obviously this is the collective of men and women's average of children and isn't the average of individuals. I know someone is going to make that point so I have to state the obvious.
@Patar15 Every baby always has 1 genetic father and 1 genetic mother. So women averaging more childs than men is due to women living longer on average, so there are more mothers still alive than there are fathers still alive
@@poryzonegames942 you are forgetting that a man can have multiple wives which would make the average man have less children. 0 can be very brutal for averages.
There was an indian guy who was legally declared dead because relatives paid authorities to do so in order to get his money, and he ended up killing people so authorities would pay attention to him. He went to jail despite not being legally alive. Authorities don't care
my mother was born in china as a second kid. She said that after she was born, some people tried to take her away(I think it was either adoption or get killed) my grandma refused to give her up. i’m so thatnkful for that❤️
The 2 child policy in Viet Nam is more likely a recommend than a law, it isn’t strict like China Edit: I think the limit is 4 or 5 (to not get a fine, but the baby would still registered in the national database, though)
In Russia, for newborn babies you can have free child food. And for having three kids you can get free piece of land. And for having more than ten children they give a medal and money to the mother.( You can have a free land but you need to be a Russian citizen and there’s a huge line for the land, that’s the twist). I might be incorrect so google this or ask Mike👍
This is a misconception. China has pregnancy licences. The One Child Policy prevented couples who already had one child from being granted another licence. However, if twins were born the first time around that was fine. Additionally, there were numerous exemptions for rural areas and ethnic minorities.
Well, there was SOMETHING! NOBODY ever notices this, but if it was "one child" all the way, the population would have DECLINED noticeably, and it in fact seems to have about DOUBLED in that time! All they did in practice was tap the brakes it seems, and that's with a strenuous long-term effort! Just think if they HADN'T made that effort!
@@leonardpearlman4017This policy started from 80s, and recently birth rate dropped significantly in china so it’s no longer in effect. Not bringing it back tho

According to the official explanation, she had a lot of sets of multiplets (so many that it's statistically improbable, even if she had some disorder causing multiple ovulation). Overall the validity of the whole story is pretty questionable
Let me tell you a story about Vietnam child policy. Many women have 5, 7, and even 13 children, they are so poor to properly go to school or have a good meal. But when the government find a way to help them (tube tying and (surprise) suggested they wear condom, but the husband say it not comfortable)) they refuse all of the help, and the government just kinda giveup. So they live on the kindness of good people online.
In Vietnam, we got a 2-kid policy, but the policy only ENCOURAGES each family to stop at 2 kids, so there are no penalties whatsoever to couples who decide to have more than 2. However, if you serve in the military, this can affect your career, as it can be considered when they review your promotion to higher ranks.

Vietnam's 2 kids policy are kind of encouragement for families, not a law. In fact, there are a lot of families with 3 or more kids. It's just an encouragement from the family planning, when the population is booming and when the country is still in poverty and development. It, in fact, works because kids have better care, attention and less financial burden for parents. Now, young people are encouraged to have kids, but within reason and financial status

Fun fact:She would have the best time at Poland. The Polish Goverment doesn't have a limit to having a baby. If something,They pay you 800zł 200$ for every baby you have by month. In one month she can get 55200zł (13800$) It can make your family survive for long time. And its all IN 1 MONTH. She would have got 662400zł 165600$ every year.
@@kaiserknight1217reminds me of the joke in Futurama where bender adopted 10 orphans because each one they gave him 100 dollars a week, and he pretty quickly realized that he was an idiot for thinking he could profit off that.
I recently heard China is now regretting that decision. China currently has a very low birth rate and this will cause a serious threat. Which is already happening in Japan.
They have a skewed demographic with too many old people for the few young people they have. Their preference for boys led to a huge gender imbalance as well.
What is causing low birthrate in China are social conflicts between men and women though, this would've happened regardless. China has a really nasty incel epidemic going on, only south korea can be worse in that regard. Misogyny and online harrassment is rampant. The root for all this is confucianism, an old asian ideology through which asians founded states. This is why you find the same problems in all the countries that were founded through confucianist principles. It organized society to be more collectivist, which has positive and negative unravelings. It's the kind of society where standing out is seen poorly. Because of that, communication and expression can be hard, and they are the crux of social developments. It was Society who arranged the who bangs who , arranged marriages and setups and all that. This helped with mitigating conflicts and disputes but caused the underdevelopment of social skills, not much more than how it currently is in the west but enough to generate visible effects in a dense population. Confucianist ideology is really rooted in how they interact socially and it is a millenia old ideology, it is not fit for the modern needs, paradigms and societal organization. Everything works against the upkeeping of said ideology, industrial structure, population density, technology... The same can be said about Patriarchy in the west btw.
The 1 child policy was implemented in the 80 due to very real fears of overpopulation, ethnic groups under 10 million were given exceptions. The limit was removed in 2021 and families are given financial incentives to have more kids.

They’re also practiced in India where, to my knowledge, they have always been illegal and there’s never been limit on how many kids you can have.

Genghis Khan: FINALLY A WORTHY OPPONENT OUR BATTLE WILL BE LEGENDARY
0 can be very brutal for averages.
men work to their own demise, thats why they, (on average) have less children.

But you can’t get a job, house, go to school, get insurance (if that’s in china) etc it’s really not as good as it sounds
There was an indian guy who was legally declared dead because relatives paid authorities to do so in order to get his money, and he ended up killing people so authorities would pay attention to him. He went to jail despite not being legally alive. Authorities don't care

Funny. XXD.
This is a misconception. China has pregnancy licences. The One Child Policy prevented couples who already had one child from being granted another licence. However, if twins were born the first time around that was fine. Additionally, there were numerous exemptions for rural areas and ethnic minorities.
I wondered what the rule was for having twins...
So, it depends on where you live at the time. Got it.

@Casey21. if I'm correct at the time they only allowed a second child if the first was a girl and boys were still the goal of most families. I'm not sure what happened to triplets but sometimes people would hide the existence of a child if it was girl twins so they can give birth to a second baby.
More kids = less poverty long term

Plus the imbalance of the sexes
Well the 1 child policy didn't cause that. That would be due to capitalism and the fact that there are so much more men than women
