Their null warp presence is likely how they are keeping the fate of the lion hidden... if chaos and really the imperium cannot detect his life despite the fact he is sleeping, they probably keep him that way because the watchers know how the chaos gods would react if another Primarch were to rejoin the imperium.

Maybe the Watchers aren't Daemons but rather just Warp-born creatures, not unlike Enslavers, with their Blank-like invisibility towards other Warp-Entities just being some sort of "natural" Camouflage. Think Octupi or various Insects here on Earth, just Sapient and with added Warp-Weirdness, allowing the Watchers to stay hidden from daemonic predators.
This would also explain how they are able to stay in the material world, without any Warp Portals or host bodies that Daemons usually need to maintain a physical form, as they are just a material species that evolved in the Immaterium, again, similar to the Enslavers, if different in nature.

Caliban seems to have been an Artificial satellite created to house the Ouroboros and the *Tuchulcha* those things that they call the Watchers could be an Artificial species created as caretakers. It could also explain how Caliban became a Death World, as I SERIOUSLY doubt Dark Age humans would colonize a Death World intentionally.

There is one thing we already know what is madness inducing when looked at, but not by Chaos or the warp or all it's playgrounds.
It is said that they are madness inducing because they and their... followers? spawns? underlings? Bah! ..., because they show those that look upon them the truth, pure unadultered truth, the truth that one doesn't count. That one is as insignificant, everyone is as insignificant in the grand time of cosmos... And the Elder Beings, the Old Ones that shielded and fought against them. Against these beings of Order.

There is a simple answer as to what they might be, we have through the Heresy confirmed that the Watchers have Guarded the Ouroboros (Daemon within Caliban) since the planet was formed. In all likelihood the watchers are an evolutionary off-shoot of the Old Ones, specifically due to their negative psionic presence and ability to travel between the corporeal realm and the warp. If you consider that even within your own video they spoke of cultivating the civilization on Caliban, doesn't sound extremely similar to how the Old Ones were "Cultivating species" for their wars and experiments?

Except the Old Ones needed the Webway to travel far distances, I also find it hard to believe that they've been so unsuccessful in combating Chaos if they can breed like anything else, or that they are only found in Caliban. Surely any of the Old Ones that remain would have made sure the Watchers could spread, breed, and make it own that they stand in direct opposition to Chaos (arguably the biggest threat). Surely they would be everywhere if they had access to the Webway and space travel. Add to this the fact that they are virtually 100% for certain Warp entities, the Old Ones almost definitely had nothing to do with them.

The Warp is the reflection of all thought by psychic beings in the universe. The only thing that could be truly considered "anti-warp" would be ironically reality itself. Real Space or the Materium which unlike the Warp is not shaped by thought or belief but instead constant and unchanging laws of reality. This is why prior to the Great Rift, Daemons had a hard time manifesting in Warhammer 40k. Requiring elaborate rituals of mass sacrifice to tear the veil that separates the Warp from Real Space. So the idea of a so called "Anti-Warp" is completely unnecessary because it already exist and we live in it.

That way different 1D projections of this same 3D time would move at different rates, in different directions, form loops, or even stand still.
People just say time does not exist in the warp because our minds can't comprehend any nature to time other than a 1D straight line.

The warp is a psychic dimension. That means time doesn't exist there, rather the it's the ideas of time which exist there. It's concepts like past, present, future, duration, synchronicity, and repetition which are real in the warp. Likewise, time could have as many dimensions in the warp as you could imagine, because thinking it would make it so.

The watchers in the dark are the "interfaces" of the Warp Computer that the Lion Recovered. The reason they are seen in the past and future is because the computer is in the Warp and thus is time freed. The computer feared nothing and no one, except the Lion for some reason and it willingly served him. It was also capable of opening portals in the warp and time at will.. the point that it could link the bridge from a Dark Angel's ship to a Death Guard's ship. The reason they are diminutive is because they are children. The adeptus mechanicus tried various attempts to interface with the machine, it turns out only the body of children could survive it. From that moment onward because of the use of being somewhat omni-present and not bound by physical locations the robed, hunched, diminutive beings that no one understood who stood beside the throne of the Lion... watchers in the dark. I need to get the title of the book because I keep forgetting it. But yes..

My personal guess is that they are a sort of Anti warp entity, to understand what I mean, think about it like this: We exist in a world of matter, but we have an antithesis called Anti matter and contact between the two destroy each other, what if the warp had it's own antithesis, that is weaker and smaller, like how anti matter seems to be less abundant than matter. This idea would explain the watchers as a sort of anti warp entity and those individuals with blank souls just have their souls tied to the anti warp. This would explain how enough warp energy can change a blank into a normal human by overrunning the blank soul until it bleeds into the warp, as evidenced in the Ravenor books with his personal blank. This would also explain how the watchers move without being tied to the warp, and why Demons feel their presence so fiercely against their own.

I like to picture them as evidence of a "Counter-Warp"... where the Warp, and entities therein, respond to emotion and passion, the Counter-Warp would repond to logic and rationality. This means a soul has two parts - mind and heart. Blanks are often said to be emotionless, but the fact that they can think and display concepts such as devotion (re: Ciaphas Cain's manservant, Gunner Ferik Jurgen) means there must be another nonbiological aspect somewhere. It's also entirely possible the Emperor's essence, the Starchild, has manifested itself in the Counter-Warp, in order to hide from the Ruinous Powers. Since almost every species in existence finds emotion and passion to be far more powerful than logic and clear thought, it would also explain why there are no major Powers from this Counter-Warp, only the Watchers in the Dark.
