    The ride from renfrew to smith falls on the A. Then to Sharbot lake through Perth and all the back roads to the K&P takes about 11 hours. With stops. We did it last fall. Fun ride

      Been meaning to try that out. I've done all those parts, but just not all in 1 go.

    It was a great day for a ride. I am the guy in the Commander. Nice work on the video.

      Thanks man. Nice gun haha👍. It's a small world eh. Nice machine you got I really like those. Later on I wished I came over to hear yours idle and take a closer look. I have a Sport 1000R as well. I hear the Commanders are a bit more quiet. And that the Commander muffler will bolt up to Sport. I wouldn't mind if my Sport was a bit more quiet. Take it easy brother hope you are happy with your machine!

      @@SideX_Each Yes it very quiet based on Maverick Sport. It has an extra sound damping layer and cooler as well in the interior. Going to Hatfield & McCoy trails in April looking forward to that. See you on the trails.

    Great video. Looking at getting a side by side and nice to know these great trails exist.

      Lots of amazing trails around the area bro. Head an hour north of the trains and you have tons around Calabogie. We go for 3 days at a time right from home as you'll see in the vids. If you live in the area it's a great place to own a side x side! Take you years to see it all...

    Here in Nova Scotia we have the "Rails to Trails" systemson both the north and south shores, some go right along the coast and it's a beautiful drive.
    I will say that there are a few sections along the trail systems that no longe allow off highway vehicles because of "safety concerns" Which means it took the 1% out of the 99% of the ridership to close the trails to specific use.
    Nice relaxing drive and to see that not everyone uses thier X3 as a desert machine or rock bouncer.

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we do have the odd place near populated areas where you can't ride rail like I mention in that video. I've seen some rides out your way and is definitely nice country! Our X3 does it all. Some days are relaxing, some days the X3 gets pounded pretty good lol. Our terrain is constantly changing throughout the day in our area. We see a bit if everything as far as terrain goes!

    How ironic, this is the same ride my wife and I did last weekend. We had not done the trail south of Sharbot Lake before, and wanted to check it out. We decided to go a little north of Sharbot Lake as well. Since the days are getting short, we ended up back in Verona a little after dark. Thanks for making the videos so I don’t have to! I know they are a bit of work to put together.

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So far, it is starting to get a little ironic haha. See you on Johnstown this weekend for the $ Run if you go. If the weather is OK. Still undecided...
      A bit of work is involved yes, but starting to get pretty quick at editing. The worst part is going through all the footage. Not even sure why I'm doing it lol.

    • @RyanRKJ
      @RyanRKJ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SideX_Each we won’t be at the money run, so you’ll have to take a video for me (if you want). Try to keep most of the machine above water! We just got back from a few days on the VMUTS, and had an awesome time.
      When you make videos of your adventures, in a way, it extends the adventure. The trip is not over, until the video is uploaded. The parasocial interaction can be fun, though it is tough to build a large audience. Also, making your own videos really helps you appreciate all the effort that goes into making top notch content.

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RyanRKJ I will be recording. Hopefully not to nasty out there. It's a guided run with dozens of people so I can't see them getting into the bad stuff and have people stuck and swamped and winching all day. That's not what I signed up for haha. But yeah we have been in mud and water up past seats around Johnstown and Wnchester etc. I'm not rally into that. The cleanup is brutal.
      We did Mattawa earlier this summer. Stayed 3 nights at the adventure camp. But did not own a camera at that time. I'm only about 2 months into all this...
      Just doing it for fun. Not sure what my end goal is here really lol.

    Those old railbeds definitely have a lot of history behind them ! Last winter i watch a few different youtube documentaries on the Hastings Heritage trail from Picton north and how it all started etc , it was very interesting . So many people dont stop and think about the history of those trails while they are riding them . Great video btw !

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks again. I bet those documentaries were a bit better than mine haha! But you are right, if you sit back and think about it the history is quite interesting. Most take it for granted and have no clue. Which is one of the reasons the world is heading the direction it is. Repeating history that has gone horrifically wrong in the past.

      @SideX_Each  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DonsATVAdventures I will likely be up there Saturday. Calabogie and surrounding areas is where we do most of our riding unless we trailer elsewhere. But never filmed there. I only bought a camera, computer, software, and all that stuff about 3 months ago. Still in a huge learning curve here to say the least.

    It's so great to see that you drive slow and carefully on the trail like you said is literally in peoples back garden. Looks like you have some great and interesting trails there in ON, I would love to be there driving with atv.
    What camera are you using? It almost looks like Osmo Action.

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't buy an X3 to drive 20 or 30 mph, but there is a time and a place. And areas like that are not the time or place.
      We have pretty much any terrain you can think of here. You will see a lot of variety for sure.
      And yes, it is a DJI Osmo Action I'm using. But still learning and experimenting with settings every video so far. All pretty new to me...

    • @ArcticExploring
      @ArcticExploring 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SideX_Each True that far out from people you can drive faster.
      If you look at my driving videos, I also use Osmo Action. I actually bought another one this summer to have a second camera (also have pocket 2 and mini 2.
      I use is 4K @ 60 with ND-filter on most of times and Auto ISO. I used to record in Telecine-profile, but put it on ordinary colors this year (faster to edit).

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ArcticExploring I was thinking of buying a 2nd camera as well. And been playing with ND filters. Trying to learn what I should use and when. I will check your channel out for sure later today when I get a chance!

    • @ArcticExploring
      @ArcticExploring 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SideX_Each I would wait until end of October since there will 99% sure be a DJI Action 2 camera out. With ND-filters, ND16 works great for me in daylight (summer) but you have to try out what works best for you. But I set shutterspeed to 1/120 when recording at 60 fps, and put on ND-filter that do great for that day (at home) and use Auto ISO to help if it will be getting cloudy or something. And as a editor I use Davinci Resolve 17 Studio. The free version works great too, but doesn't use graphiccard that much to speed up things.

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArcticExploring Yes an new DJI will likely follow soon after the GoPro 10 release. Still may grab another Gen 1 though because they are pretty cheap right now. My latest 2 vids are 60 fps 1/120. The ones before that were 30fps 1/60. The 2 newest vids are on manual but with auto ISO set to 400 max. I've been using Filmora so far as it's so easy to use. I have DaVinci downloaded but it's a bit over my head at this point. I did get a pretty powerful gaming laptop a few weeks ago so no issues running heavy programs.
