Wow, it's always crazy to me how production like this that always sounds so dense and insane ends up being deceptively simple when you see it laid out.
I think he may have sampled the actual beat - there are parts when he's not rapping so he could've taken those and looped and/or used them for reference.
the original sample is from "Title theme" by Hiromichi Fujiwara, and the drum loop is mostly a sample from "Four play" by Fred Wesley and The Horny Horns
@@arizonateac ofc, it actually blows my mind how accurate your remakes are. you easily make the best out rn. i have a request for you if you were willing to try, it’s down (one kount) by yung kayo. some dope trap/industrial type stuff. edit: or it’s a monday by him. either way he’s really fire and some of his songs are pretty unique
hi I know this is a year or so old n all but is it possible to either remake "WHAT THE HIP HOP HELL IS THIS?" or at least give me the knowledge on what song/commercial he used to make it?
yes, i took the arp from the offline version, remaking that would be near impossible cause it sounds like he recorded the sample somewhere. everything else is from scratch though
Wow, it's always crazy to me how production like this that always sounds so dense and insane ends up being deceptively simple when you see it laid out.
its about choosing right thing/samples
if you'd break up the samples into their specific instruments/inputs, that's where the details would show
@@4hoofdfor sure, the way it’s chopped and layered is wild,
@@4hoofdi was just about to say this
its peggy's expert arrangements that make it seem complex
holy shit sick work man, actually crazy hearing it like this, all the sample chops are spot on
Wow this is actually impressive as shit, I did not expect it to sound this accurate
Excellent reaction man. Really impressed
Edit: also the trumpets are spot on, That’s talent right there
How did you manipulate that sample to get both the pitch and time stretch right? Sounds crazy accurate, good job
i was wondering this as well
I think he may have sampled the actual beat - there are parts when he's not rapping so he could've taken those and looped and/or used them for reference.
hey i know this is late but i’m pretty sure the effect peggy used to get the sample/instrument to sound like this is granular synthesis
Tempo automation maybe?
@@lucyen8630 bro what are you doing here
the original sample is from "Title theme" by Hiromichi Fujiwara, and the drum loop is mostly a sample from "Four play" by Fred Wesley and The Horny Horns
how did he ever manipulate the "title theme" sample to sound like this? i cant even recreate it
goddam the manipulation to get the sample to sound this clear is phenomenal
Perfect remake 😍

I think there's literally just 1 extra note in the trumpet/horn part. It sounds more like "bada-tahhhhhh" than "ba-tahhhhhhh"

At the beggining. Is it just only bpm automation or something like vinyl spin in?
I put all the tracks into stretch and did bpm automation, looking back i couldve done that effect better/differently
@@arizonateac It's still pretty acurate tho! Thank you!!!
how else would you have done that?@@arizonateac
what about the intro synth ? is it a sample or you made that ?@@arizonateac

assuming u took the main part from the actual beat?
