When I was 7, I remember there was a girl who came up to the class to tell us she had cancer. For some reason, she shined like no other. She was beautiful, graceful and had an aura that no one could come close to. On that day, i decided to tell her how I feel about her. But every time I saw her, she had crowds of friends around her so I chickened out, deciding to tell her another time.
The next morning, I found out that she passed away in her sleep. I regret to this day not telling her how I feel and after 16 years, I still think about her. So if you miss someone, tell them before it's too late because you never know if the memory will follow you for the rest of your life.
Ill never forget Chelsea. I hope we meet sometime in the afterlife or the next... and even if it's selfish, I hope I can tell her sometime how i feel about her. She was my very first love and i don't think I'll ever forget about her because I wouldn't be the man I am today without her
Edit: its been 4 more years without her. I wish we could experience this together… there’s so much i want to tell her, but I’m still stuck on this side. Maybe if lady lucks permits it, I’ll die soon so I can meet you again.

The only thing I can say is this is one of the most beautiful films I've seen in my life. The ending brought me tears in my eyes, few films have made me cry like this.

same - a friend showed it to me. at first I thought it was „just romance with a slight twist“, but then, like 20 mins in, the movie completely flipped. It was such a heartbreaking and happy but also sad movie. truly a masterpiece

It was in june (almost winter here) i said that i was late for a class (witch I was btw), to this day I think I never was so regreted of something i said ever. (I guess i was still a coward)
That was the last time i saw her, now I dont know how she is where she is (I know she doesnt live in this City anymore) What she does, and I regret deeply to dont say what I feel in that moment just to not ruin our friendship
So, who ever read this, trust me when I say, do it, take that leap of faith, rejection is scary i know but is more scary to being alone when you could have someone at your side
And if this dont go right, you always will know that at least you tried it, and move on, witch is different for those who ask ourselves, "what if..."

Even in 2023 when the sky gets covered by the dark clouds and the cool wind creases my skin. I sit in an open field listening to Sparkle and the nostalgia hits.
The night I watched this..I cried for 30 minutes, sitting there and thinking about how good the movie was..I couldn’t believe how good the movie was, just amazing, will always be remembered as my new favorite anime.

I watched this movie while in a long distance relationship, I remember crying so much! "I came to see you, it wasn't easy because you were so far" - The relationship is sadly over, but I think I will never forget it. Never have I loved so much, we each moved on but everytime I look up to the night sky Nandemonaiya always plays in my head and I can still remember that love. Probably we will never be together again, and I think I am fine with that. I just hope he remembers me every now and then and how much I love him. Love never really fades away, it only transforms itself.

I watched this for the first time with my bf (now my ex) and fell asleep midway (due to time zone restraints, we watched it during my night time). I watched it by myself after to make up for it tho. It was a beautiful animation movie that I repeat every time I feel like it 😊 we all deserve to be happy in our own way.

@@MADCougar04 My only opinion is that A Silent Voice deals with a realistic matter of depression, commonly suffered by a good majority. Hence its clearly more relatable than Your Name which showcases a rather unnatural or supernatural phenomenon. However I must admit that Your Name was a lot more entertaining and its visual were just amazing!

This movie changed my perception of life and I am sure I will live a better life from now onwards achieve all my goals and be truly happy without chasing things that are not meant to be, I will keep searching for that one thing or person which is meant for me. On my darks days I will look forward to re-watching this movie to keep me motuvated. The more you watch this one the more better it gets. One movie I will never be bored of and the message of this movie will resonate with me till my last breathe, patience, perseverance, hope and destiny.

i had this movie suggested to me recently... i am blown away by how amazing the story draws you in to the very last moment... this is definitely at the top of my collection list now. such an amazing movie about finding love
How can one movie leave such an impact on me, this just has to be one of the most heartfelt emotional written anime of all time. I can hear any of these songs and feel happy, excited, sad, angry, satisfaction and frustration it is a roller coaster. To this day all this still stands too. That is the point of leaving a comment like this now, to show this is still one of the best anime ever created. A big ty to the creators for this the plot, the music and the animation just simply a masterpiece so tyy ❤️

@@indiana157 Nah, at that point in time they havent met yet. Weathering With You takes place in 2021. Taki and Mitsuha don't reunite until 2022. (Theres actually come inconsistencies with Weathering with you and Your Names ending but the director said he didnt care about the timeline)

It was 10 pm and I cried 5 times. My cousin and sister laughed at me. And when it was time to sleep, I lied awake and stared at the ceiling and just cried.

I watched it like on Christmas day on 2016-2017 on my bed with a blanket on my brothers laptop.I just saw the name and I was like whats this and started watching and it was like coming to nightfall when I finished it.I just got outside on the balcony and thought about everything and just thinking about it on my bed aswell.I woke up in the morning and just stared at the celing thinking about life
This movie was one of greatest moments in my life...I will never forget how I cried out my eyes watching this piece of art. Big thx to the studio and everyone who worked for this to be done in such a perfect way. Greatest romance and anime movie of all time. We should be thankful that we live in time able to watch a movie like this.

Everything about this movie was unforgettable. Art to me is an expression of ephemeral thoughts and feelings. And perhaps because I will always be confounded and atracted to the ephemeral nature of this artwork. I can never stop going back to this movie. Whether through the music or through watching it on Netflix.
Happy to see this and a silent voice both getting tons of love in the comments. I love both of these. This last few weeks have made it clear that I was sleeping on Japanese film.
after rewatching this movie I got reminded of the feeling you have after you wake up after a good dream and it slowly starts to fade and you forget it. I had like the best dream ever one time that i just wish was my actual life and now I have that feeling again. I usually have this feeling nearly everytime I dream since as depressing as it sounds nearly all of my dreams are better than my real life. I haven't had nightmares in years at least I can't remember any bad ones. But there was this one special good one that I felt like was longer than the average one. Like straight out of inception kind of thing. When I woke up and started to forget I no kidding felt like a piece of me was missing, removed. Like I was missing out on something in life. Always longing and searching exactly like in the movie. Actually made me feel depressed and now that feeling has returned. I wish I could relive my dreams, return, continue the dream or simply live in them. Dreams are so weird. At times I wish O just didn't dream so I avoid this feeling. This is quite sad but thanks for such a great movie either way!
I have those dreams when I just felt off. I just sit in bed thinking. Damn. Tbh, I don't really know what to type. As I was reading this, Sparkle came on and I just thought about life for a good 2 minutes. Damn.
Relatable.... Try keeping a dream journal. It's such a great feeling, reading your dreams after you've forgotten them. It's like reading a book with your unconscious mind as the author. The weirdest thing about this is that I usually don't remember anything about the dream, so it's like reliving it all over again.
