The hj61v has front and rear stabilizers bars and manual cable operated difflocks, the main Achilles's heel if the 12ht is the fuel pump, std untouched fuel pumps are no more available , the main problem is the fuel enrichment mechanism , so either it's rich on idle or lean on boost 2ndly std turbo is not reliable , the best option is to swap a 1hz diesel , or a 13bt

In India INR 10 to 15 lakh can buy 100 series landcruiser, LX 470 and j90 well maintained Prado n 2007 Prado also.

Wow my favourite land cruiser model and i didnt know that a review of one such beautiful SUV is available on ibrahimmughal ....well explained..Khar cruiser....nissan safaei/patrol dimensions should be compared with this big full aize SUV...this shape in early 1983 and 1985 models had simplers square shape dashboard...these lat 80s models had more equipped and round curved dashboard like a cockpit...which looked more beautiful in brown and light beige tone ..nissna patrol came in 1986 to even till 1997.....nissna patrol had very simple and boring interior .he is right..it was first proper SUV by Toyota but still very robust and practical..the 80 series was a totally changed luxury vehicle...in 80s till early 90s..there wa another best option of US imported jeep wagoneer which was available hell cheaper than this 60 series cruisers

khaali shocks wali konsi gari hoti hai bhai? Thora sa to mechanical knowledge apna increase karen owner saab. There is not a single car with shocks only. Every car has a suspension and normally it's either spring leaf (kamaaniyan) or Coil Springs. Spring leaf suspension is mostly found on older cars where newer cars mostly come with Coil Springs. The purpose of the suspension is to hold the weight of the car over the axles. And shock absorbers are to 1) maximise comfort by dampening the moves in the suspension system 2) to ensure the tyres don't lose contact with the driving surface.

This SUV is not geniune square light model as there's no indicator below headlights. Secondly sticker is of old model. Owner doesn't know anything about vehicle. This vehicle came till 1989. There were three models in this vehicle VX top of the range, GX mid--range and standard model. Look at the dashboard it's of old model.
STD low roof was the lowest category vehicles with chassis codes KC and MC.
GX low roof was above that with chassis code MM.
GX High roof was above that with the chassis codes MMZ, PMZ and MEMZX.
The top variant was VX or better known as the MMZX.
My ride is the fully loaded MMZX the dash is genuine and some variants came with round and some with squared dashboard starting from the Australian market.
Dashboard design doesn't matter anyone can change it I had an 82model bj60 with a 2h it had a round dashboard but the round dash started appearing in 1987 not 1984 so it was obviously changed also as for the headlights your partially correct they are Genuine but I did upgrade from round to spuared.
As for the stickers they are not from older variants there were more then 3-4 designs of stickers and this flag swipe design came on some of the 87model MMZX cruisers the cruisers in gold came with a larger striped sticker with 4x4 written on front doors you can search the rest for yourself.

The only issue I see with this vehicle is single a/c. The rear passengers will suffer in summers.
The ac throw is excellent and with a bit of diy you can route ac vents through center console for better cooling
