What a weirdly designed course. That outside line coming off the corner into the three stride then the two stride is so jumper-y. It looks out of place in a hunter round. It would be interesting to see how other people rode it
Yeah I do the jumpers and it does look out of place in a hunter ring.
itsakaykip that's funny cause all of my hunter courses have either a 5, 4, or 3 stride to a 2 stride

There illegal in hunters all gags are forbidden in hunters. This a Exter right out of a hunter rule book . “Snaffles,kimberwicks,pelhams,and/orfull bridles, all with cavesson nose bands and plain leather brow bands, are required.” “Slip or gag bits or hackamores of any type are not permitted.”

Looked so lovely! Can you please explain what the classes are? Im British you see- is hunters where you're judged on how you ride? And I've got no idea what hack is 😂
Hunters is judged on the horse, equitation is judged on the riders look. The hack is a division all on it's own usually but in this case it was a hunter under saddle so again with it being hunters it was judging the horse. Each judge has their criteria of what they are looking for. :)
Lauran are hunters much different to working hunters?

Wtf, "Ride every stride" can do MUCH better with Luna. I'm pretty sure Luna feels more comfortable having "Ride every Stride" as her owner. She looks so much better and she treat Luna better.

Ruth K there is several different ways to do it, it was originally made for studs but even then it went under neath the nose. Many horses have had damage from it on the front. It's safer that way but some people don't think it's bad if there careful 👍🏻

Just because in Australia we don't usually do it, why did you get to the show at 7:30 when you were showing after 3:30pm ?

4am!? We have alarms on each stable and they don't go off until 5am 😂
4feet1team shows where I live start classes at like 7 so we have to be at the barn for 4am to get our horses in the trailer then it usually takes about 45 minutes depending on where we are going to get to the show barn. Then we have to get our horses all set up when we get there and way for our classes.
Kendyl Thompson We have high security systems on our yard. Each stable is equipped with its own alarm and if we do have to be up extra early we have to ask the owner to turn the alarm off for that stable. It's hard work but it's worth it and classes usually start at varied times depending on location
