I know three things about the atheist hosts of atheist experience.
      1. They have a disbelief in God which means even if God was proven by the scientific method they still wouldn't accept God
      2. While they don't have the willingness or ability to accept God they don't actually believe the origins of Life came into existence without God .
      3. None of them can supply a rational definition for the word female.

      @@wickedchef PROOF OF CREATION/INTELLIGENT DESIGN/FLAT EARTH!
The supposed globe has a radius of 4000 miles. Therefore the curvature should drop at a rate of 8 inches per mile squared. Yet we see ships, shorelines, skylines and mountain ranges from impossible distances. The Elevation, Distance, and 8 inches per mile squared, are all factored in.
We only need 3-5 miles to prove there's no curvature.
8×3 miles squared ÷12=6ft of curvature drop.
If you stand on a shoreline and watch a ship disappear "over the horizon" with your naked eye, then look through a high powered zoom lense or telescope, you can pull The ship back into view, top to bottom, hull and all. Why? Because the horizon isn't curvature. It's perspective. Limit of one's vision with the naked eye from sea level.
If you stand in the centre of 100+ square miles of flat ground, you will see a horizon about 2-3 miles away in every direction 360 degrees around you. Why? Because the horizon isn't curvature. It's perspective. Limit of one's vision with the naked eye from ground level.
I've seen the "Ocean of Heaven" seemingly suspended in the sky above with my own two eyes. Consistent with Ancient Hebrew Cosmology. It's a closed system. "Outer Space" is water. There were thousands of "U.f.o's" in or above the Ocean outside the Firmament. Want proof of the firmament? No problem!
      TH-cam - Sprites ....
Slow the video down and watch in slow motion.
You'll see the Lightening strike and ricochet off of the firmament above creating Sprites.
Wernher Von Braun has PSALMS 19:1 engraved on his Gravestone.
Who's Wernher Von Braun!? Aerospace Engineer of Nasa.
Astronots pretend to go to space. Green screen. Cgi props and globe. Backflips on harnesses. Space walks are done in underwater studios. Deep diving suits. Etc
I've also seen the flower of life all over my walls, ceiling and floor in my apartment. Why would I see the flower of life all over a man made construct? Because we are the Sims!
Physicists say they found computer code embedded in the equations we use to describe the cosmos. Suggesting we more than likely live in a computer simulation.
Atoms behave differently when being observed (Double Slit Experiment)
Atoms are 99.99 % empty space. Therefore physical matter doesn't actually exist on a subatomic level.
There are no Coincidences. Only Synchronization. Algorithms.
My theory/hypothesis based on everything above... ?
We live on a a stationary plane with a firmament above within a virtual reality. Atoms are pixels projecting 3D images in a 4D realm.

Your comment made me rewatch this.
And for fuck sake, Jacob seems like a nice enough guy but holy shit is he dumb.
Every single one of his dumbass arguments was flicked away as effortlessly as flicking an ant off your arm.
And like an ant he just kept marching along like nothing happened, learning nothing from the experience and continuing to climb back up to get effortlessly flicked away again.
At one point he asked if they were aware of any evidence for a Creator, and when they said no he was dumbfounded.
He literally exclaimed "WOW! That's amazing."
Jacob was surprised that people who don't believe in a God or gods aren't aware of any evidence for a God or gods.
He doesn't even know WHAT the people he's talking to believe.
It would be like me talking to a Republican with zero knowledge of what Republicans tend to believe, and me saying:
"So you don't think the Second Amendment should be repealed?".
      And they say "No."
And I go "WOW! That's amazing."

It's not that they didn't provide evidence for God it's just that atheist don't understand the meanings of words like evidence.
There is evidence for God the fact every civilization we have ever come across predating the Bible and despite not having contact with each other came to the same conclusion of the creator of the origins of life is evidence of the belief in God being a designed thought and or a logical conclusion.
Also atheism is a disbelief it's disingenuous for an atheist to even ask for evidence for God. Even if God was proven by the scientific method somebody with a disbelief in God wouldn't have the willingness or ability to accept God. Interesting enough like the word evidence atheists don't know the meaning of the word atheism and the word disbelief.

If a scientist personally has a disbelief in God AKA he's an atheist he's taking the opposite of the scientific approach.
Anybody who's a scientist and an atheist doesn't belong studying the origins of life and things of this nature because even if it's proven by the scientific method the origins of life is the result of creation a scientist or anybody else with a disbelief in God still wouldn't accept it.
Imagine you have scientists in atheist humanist North Korea who discovered the origins of Life was the result of creation but because of atheist humanist Kim jong-un and the atheist humanist government of North Korea they're not allowed to accept the origins of Life was a result of creation ,even if they themselves proved it using the scientific method.
If a scientist as an individual personally has a disbelief in God and he claims the idea of the origins of Life came into existence without God is part of the natural process he's making a claim to the supernatural. He's giving his personal opinion or what he claims his opinion is it has nothing to do with science.
I know atheists don't understand this but a scientist trying to physically create life using the materials around him is not life popping into existence because of a non intelligent occurrence it's actually creation.
The natural process as we know it is life comes from life, Life comes from an intelligent source. So if anybody claims the origins of Life came into existence without God they're making a claim to the supernatural. And science doesn't deal in the supernatural .
I noticed that atheists believe saying the word science equates to proving something using the scientific method but it doesn't. It's Just saying the word science.

Thus the reason for the consensus…Generally what I usually see with any scientist who is also a believer, is that they usually believe because of personal feelings, not because within their field they see a requirement for the insertion of a deity due to there being no natural explanations

I like how, as a society, we have collectively, in this VERY SPECIFIC CONTEXT, just sort of accepted that it's normal to even debate about the existence of an individual that no one has actually seen. And not just that, you CAN'T see by design. All these rules and caveats and stipulations for why he can't just appear for a few seconds to confirm himself. It's kind of just downright absurd when you think about it.
I know if I were personally making up a story and needed to get people to believe it, this is exactly the kind of thing I'd say to get them to believe it. "Yea he definitely exists! In the book that he had us write through magic, he predicted that some people won't believe it. That's just more evidence he exists. What he wants from you is to believe without knowing he exists, that is the test he made for you. And if you fail, there are eternal BAD consequences so you better be safe and not sorry. "
I'm sorry but the whole thing is just absurd. No one would believe today if not for indoctrination. Occams razor really does cut the whole idea of god out of the picture for me, and it doesn't even take much thought. You just have to be willing to be honest.

The caller says that the experts in their fields of knowledge (biology, cosmology...) claim there is evidence in these sciences of a creator. That is just plain outright false. He should be trying to explain how HE interpretates the available knowledge and HE concludes such an evidence, not that OTHERS claim it. It is HE that claims it, not others.
Interpretating biologists/cosmologists as if their work shows evidence does NOT mean that THEY said there is evidence. The first is just an opinion, the other is lie.

You know, this allegedly all powerful all _knowing_ deity. Despite being omnipotent and having been the source of creation that set all things in motion, God still had to choose to manifest himself just to see whether or not he'd be universally accepted - almost as if at that time he wasn't sure if humanity would.

What Jacob fails to understand is that his god could appear before everybody in the world really easily today with the rise of TV and the internet, so why not? Still wouldn't worship that god even if it were proven to be real because I disagree with the things that god did in the Bible.

The fact that people didn’t believe when god has ‘shown up in the past’ rather points to a situation where he either didn’t do it very well or it is just a claim. If a god did turn up and prove its nature then no one would fail to believe - ergo he has probably never ever shown up.

Here is the self evident reason all gods are imaginary.
One two part question for people with superstitious religious beliefs.
    (A) If someone told you (or you read in a book) that the sun used matches and candles to spread light and heat at night.
Would it be obvious to you, how self evidently illogical, irrational, unreasonable and nonsensical this idea was? (Would you understand why)?
    (B) If someone told you (or you read in a book) that something capable of creating a universe and everything in it, used puny humans and books to spread accurate information.
Would it be obvious to you, how self evidently illogical, irrational, unreasonable and nonsensical this idea was? (Would you understand why)?
All gods are imaginary. No people = No imagined gods.

Callers....quick hint.....rapid babbling and talking over the host whenever your own fatally flawed reasoning is pointed out to you does not help your case or improve your position. Try this instead.
    Pause.
    Listen.
    Think.
    Reflect.
Then go back to your drawing board if needs be.
But chattering every more rapidly and pouring out additional errors that double down on the original does nothing to help your case.

I love this theist argument about why God doesn't manifest himself, that it's because *some* of us wouldn't worship him. Even if 100% of atheists still don't worship him after the revelation, wouldn't it at least clear things up for all the religions that DIDN'T follow Jesus, or better yet, what if God Revealed himself and said that Jesus wasn't his son; it was Mohammad that is his true representative? How would Jacob feel about that?!?
