Yess Don't Blame me is a spiritual experience! We swifties scream "Take me to church, taylor" everytime just before the choir part at the Era's tour. Your reaction is also on point and amazing.
Tell your buddies! There's always room for more Swifties. So many people think she's still singing teenybopper songs but like all the truly great artists she evolved and continues to reinvent herself.
@@user-yn1xs8qw6z Hi, It's nice to meet you! I, too, wish more people would listen to her now. A lot of people think she’s the way she started. Writing songs about high school relationships. She has evolved into a mastermind of business and a true wordsmith. I just love watching her soar while Kim and Kayne are becoming irrelevant. Now, that’s karma!
love this reaction 😃 taylor said in one of her “making the song” videos that she wanted that part to sound like church, and they nailed it. she’s a masterful storyteller and brilliant songwriter. she’s also a chameleon in the best sense of the word, able to switch up styles and genres whenever she wants and doing them all really well. i found you because of your TS reactions, and am subbing because i just love your vibe 💜
And yet, so many people still insist she can’t sing, among other things. She’s always been able to sing, though her vocal technique has also continued to improve over the years since her first album, especially for these live performances, with the stamina and breathing required.
And as years have gone on she has gotten even better! On the Era's Tour she sounds even better. Didn't think it was possible for an artist to keep growing vocally as much as she has at her age.
I cannot BELIEVE she did this performance with a cold… (near the end of the concert she needs to take a moment to get her runny nose under control) The thing that I love is her putting her backup singers center stage, working with them in a lot of songs, etc. So often backup singers get shoved into the background, just standing in the shadows behind a mic like they’re invisible. But if you watch “Gorgeous” from this she specifically names each of them and gives them a moment on the big screen with dedicated applause. It’s nice, that’s all. My only point of dissension about the phones thing is I have to use my phone TO connect, haha. I’m disabled and have to lie down for 2-3 days if I leave the house for a couple hours. So phones let me have social connections, ultimately. It’s a tool-it can be misused, but it’s got good uses too. There’s so many types of love, really. I think everyone experiences love differently, and…honestly even the loves a particular person experiences over the course of a lifetime are all different, too.
Speaking as a Swiftie I'm just loving these reactions. Im a new subscriber because I love how you give the music and lyrics the time and discussion they deserve. ❤
You are spot on! Gospel at its core! I have always said she should do a performance where she brings a whole gospel choir up on stage to do a collaboration! Bringing people to church! Preach!🙌🏻
I think you'd love and appreciate king of my heart from this tour. I LOVED your reaction and the fact that you get Taylor and feel her music. I look forward to your taylor journey!
I just love your commentary on these Taylor videos. Particularly, on this one, your thoughts and questions about love and humanity. I appreciate your curiosity and ability to think outside the box.
I want to thank you for not stopping the video several times and listening to the whole thing before making any comments. I am a new Swiftie after this one as well. She is amazing!!
Amazing reaction! I've been a Swiftie since '06 and a singer-songwriter and vocal coach myself. I've learned so much from her (and I'm much older) She's incredible and hasn't gotten nearly enough credit for how ridiculously smart and talented she is and how much she loves and respects her fans. I'm so happy the tides are changing! I went to The Eras Tour three times and let me tell you, that woman is a beast. I don't know how she does it as I was tired just standing and watching (well, ok, I was singing and dancing too, but not in heels!) Anywhoo, you have a new subscriber, bestie!
I enjoyed your commentary and agree with you about us humans and our ability to truly stop and understand, if what we call love and express as love, IS love. I was amazed when I read in the Bible how love is defined at 1 Corinthians 13. That was so very different from how 'love' was modeled for me growing up and gave me a better compass to follow regarding what love is and how to truly show it. The idea of us having attachment traumas in this day in age with the decimation of families and the breakdown of society has shown us, that love, true love is indeed elusive. Sadly we live in a world where reciprocity seems to be winning out over truly respecting and loving ourselves and others for the miracle we all actively are sharing in, life itself. I also loved the complex dichotomy Taylor uses with this churchy music whilst talking about love as a drug... Her music is so layered and impressive, and indeed relatable since she is so open, and poetic as she speaks about this shared human condition/experience we all can sing along to as part of our own life's soundtrack.
Taylor specifically wanted a gospel feeling with this song. You hear her in a clip from her in the studio during the production of this song. There are a lot of nice behind the scenes videos out there showing her process in creating her music. She has done some acting.
Loved your reaction!! This is my favorite performance to recommend to reactors -- it never disappoints. You're so right about the "gospel" element of this song. You should check out the "Making of Don't Blame Me" to see why you're exactly right.
When people want to say “oh the girl who writes songs about her exes” 🤡 She didn’t just perform the songs on this tour, she co-wrote & executive produced every song on the album & her co-writers and producers said they’ve never worked with someone who had such a clear vision & was so hands on. She is artist in every sense of the word. Also, mentioning Kim Kardashian & her in the same sentence is blasphemy. Lord save me.. Also - the first time Taylor ever spoke on politics was when Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee voted against the Women’s Protection Act that protected women against DV & SA. Her team did everything to stop her but she couldn’t consciously stay quiet.
Loving your reactions! Just subscribed! I think you’d enjoy a series on TH-cam that documents Taylor making some of the songs for the Reputation album! It goes into her songwriting process and the production and shows her in the studio and all that. I think you’ll be surprised how on point you were with some of your commentary in this reaction if you watch the making of Don’t Blame Me!
it was ronnie and sam 😂 and the fact that you not only went on a jersey shore clip binge when you woke up, but admitted it to us makes me love you even more 💜
I'm loving seeing so many new people discover the power of Taylor Swift!!! ❤
😎🔥😎🔥😎🔥
Same here. Taylor always gets so much hate. Taylor Swift is one amazing human. 🩷💯🙌💜

Btw, I'm a senior Swiftie. She has fans from 3 years old to 75. I think that's really cool.
I’m a senior Swiftie too… I wish more people would check out her music! She the whole package ❤

She's definitely a genius!!! Thank you and welcome to the channel!

Taylor feels every song she writes, and her fans are why she does what she does.

Love how you pick up that one of the many reasons we love Taylor is not only because she tells us HER stories but she sings us our own stories.
Such a great way to phrase that!
💜💜💜 A true artist! 🎵

Wooooow! She slayed that cold lol
You are spot on! Gospel at its core! I have always said she should do a performance where she brings a whole gospel choir up on stage to do a collaboration! Bringing people to church! Preach!🙌🏻

The comparison to Princess Diana is intriguing and profound. Something I’ve never heard before…

After reacting to the reputation stadium tour I would recommend Lover live in Paris!😊
Thank you!
8:21 the stop 💀💀💀
The irony of comparing Taylor Swift to Stevie Nicks… listen to Clara Bow.
I like you a lot, but are you claiming reaction? Because you know the words. Not the first time you’ve heard it.
I get so excited when I see reactors falling into the Swiftie family!!! It’s a special place to be apart of😊🫶🏼
I can’t imagine this feeling 8:51 with 40K other fans 🫶🏼
Memorable!
❤
