Also when washing the grains out yes you’ll get a lower abv, however again an end result flavor question. so if it was at say 12% you added water dropped it to 9%. How would that result in flavor? Positive, negative or just different?
So what is your take on the whole thing with inverting sugar and non inverted sugar when making the shines. Is it really worth the effort? I’ve heard the whole “sugar bowl” smell” my nose is pretty keen but I can’t pick it up myself. And Rock on Ol’ Dale Bishop! Yes we need more Dale in our lives 🤟🏻
