I'm the same age as you both and I used to go to the Cullen area every year from London when I was a kid to visit family. The best thing about Cullen to us kids was the ice cream shop on the high street close to where you got your fish and chips. Further along the coast a couple of miles is the amazing Sand End beach and another couple of miles after that the beautiful fishing harbour and village of Portsoy. The railways and viaducts were to transport the fish from the harbours off to the big cities to market. Closed in the sixties by the infamous Dr. Beeching who closed thousands of miles of railways throughout the UK.
What a lovely family you are! Happy days. And, I love how the young George was teaching Grandad to operate the drone ...... initially! Wonderful beginning and great footage believe me! Cullen is steeped in history going back thousands of years. I knew red pudding as polony when I lived in Northumberland - ack. xx
Brings back great memories some of my family live in portsoy not far from Cullen we used to go to Cullen for picknicks and do a bit of fishing Cullen skink is delicious

I paused it on the chippy menu & noticed the difference in pies & puddings. There wasn't a meat & potato pie (or should I say potato & meat🙄) but they had macaroni pie & a lasagne pie🤔 & the puddings were white pudding, black pudding, haggis pudding but no steak & kidney pudding as in a suet pudding🤔 Although my brother lives in Ayrshire I've never visited a chippy near him so have never noticed the difference before. When my friends & I went to a chippy on Skye we just wanted fish & chips so didn't really look at the menu, but I did see battered sausage, battered mars bars & battered pizza slices😮Heart attack city😂😂 I can't believe how much fish has gone up now in a chippy!! I need to sell a kidney to go now🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣
Was it really only £34 for all that food and drink? Four adult and two kids' meals and no charge for the great outside spot to eat it. Happy days. The kids will remember these times forever.
2 or 3 times flying you’ll get the controls Martin. That’s all I do on my channel is film interesting things with my drone, still a new channel but getting there.
