Day 1: Journey from Phnom Penh to Kep
Departure: We started our trip from Phnom Penh at 10 AM, taking the scenic Road Number 3.
Lunch Break: A delightful stop for lunch along the way.
Crab Market at Kep Province: Our first destination was the famous Crab Market, where we picked up fresh seafood to enjoy at Kep Beach.
Kep Beach Fun: We spent a few hours swimming, playing in the sand, and savoring our delicious seafood picnic. The kids had a blast!
Horse Sea in Kampot: After our beach fun, we drove to Kampot Province, just 10 km away, to visit the newly built Horse Sea. This seaside attraction is perfect for capturing memorable photos and enjoying the beautiful coastal views.
Resort Stay: We checked into a cozy resort, where we ended our day with a relaxing swim before bed.
Day 2: Exploring Kampot and Bokor Mountain
Early Morning Exercise: I and my mother started the day with some morning exercise while the rest of the family slept in.
Traditional Market Breakfast: After a morning visit to the market for fresh breakfast items, we all fueled up for the day ahead.
DoungTe Beach: Our first stop was DoungTe Beach, where we enjoyed the serene surroundings and beach activities.
Bokor Mountain Adventure: The highlight of our trip was Bokor Mountain. We experienced a mix of sunshine, rain, and even some snow (just kidding, but it was that magical!). The views were breathtaking, and we had a wonderful time exploring and enjoying lunch on the mountain.
This 2-day, 1-night trip was filled with fun, laughter, and beautiful memories. From the scenic drives and delicious food to the picturesque beaches and mountain adventures, every moment was a joy. Join us as we share our journey through these amazing Cambodian destinations!
