Blue October's "HRSA" from their 2004 DVD release Argue With a Tree. "HRSA" is from their album Consent To Treatment (2000) I claim no rights to this video, just thought their fans would appreciate it.
As someone who's been on the HRSA (more times than I'd like to admit) this song hits hard. Today's one of those days I need it to remind me what not to do.
Watching this is 2022. They produced some amazing music. Got to see them twice this summer with GGD’s. Can’t want until March 2023. They’ve come so far! ❤💙
I was at a live show when the family who he is singing about was present -- this guy's been through a lot, so cool to see the band get bigger and better over time.
this song gets me right in the feels. I will proudly and openly admit that this album was the hook line and sinker for me. I relate on more levels than I care to admit. it made my ugly side ok. It made being honest ok. I love your velvet voice and all of the talent of the band that compliments the words.Thank you Blur October for singing/saying what I didn't have the balls too. I may be the minority here (doubt it!) but I am obsessed with the music of pain & torment. I loved you then and I love you now. Proud of your life changes and sobriety. You deserve this second chance more than anyone that I know and you give all the rest of us hope. Love you, mean it!
ive seen them twice in the past few months. the first time i was driven to tears the second time i was on the brink. they are so amazing. and after i met justins it made me appreciate him and the band that much more. hes an amazing human being.
Saw Justin at Dingwalls - 8th March. that night I fell in love! and I am addicted to this song, having been in that position myself, many, many times here in the UK.
Damn, Justin was going through some rough shit around these times. All led to the amazing music they have out. One of my favorite artists and bands. Music with meaning. Real music.
I absolutely adore Blue October. They are by far my favorite band. It's nice to hear they actually sound almost as good life as they do on CD. So often a band's live performance is terrible. Not this band, however. I love their music.
Just watched the new B.O. Tour Video, SOOOO glad this was the footage they used, this is seriously Justin's hottest moment EVA!! We decided his style of twitching is liquid perfection, and wondered if it makes girls swoon so much, because of the, hmm, PRIMALness of it, the FACES he makes. He is AMAZING. Hope he gets better soon n' can tour, I'd die to see him live
before they sold out? have you been to any of their shows recently? their energy is still amazing and the performance is fantastic. wonder what your definition of selling out is, my friend.
agree with Martha and disagree with andy...GET A CLUE. Wait until you hear Kangaroo Cry!!! BEST LIVE SHOW EVER...don't take my word for it. Get ur asses to New Braunfels, TX July 4th and 5th for back to back night shows ON THE GUADALUPE RIVER!!! Sure to be the highlight of 2008.
Dumbest comment ever --- if you had ever seen Blue October live you would they had very little in common with DMB, other than the fact that both are great bands with incredible songs.
This band touches addiction/mental health like no other group man, underrated band for sure
I actually believe the live version is superior to the album version. This one has much more emotion.
I don't know a single one of their songs that isn't better live. Justin is a riveting stage presence. Just saw them last night in Asheville.
God, I miss the violin in their new stuff.
If you've ever wrote music i can t3ll you, it is probabaly one of the hardest things to do...(
Yeah, miss it so bad((

my favorite lyric of all time
One of the most amazing bands to see live....
I don't suffer with any kind of depression or anxiety but this song for some reason still spoke to me, amazing song
I was at a live show when the family who he is singing about was present -- this guy's been through a lot, so cool to see the band get bigger and better over time.
This breaks me. I have had it on repeat during so many rough patches. Blue october has been a part of My life for 13 years.

Genuinely, one of the best songs ever written. You can completely feel the emotion. Really speaks to my soul.
This performance is one for the ages. So powerful. "They actually knealt down and prayed for me." Gets me every time.
This band is so much better live than on cd it's ridiculous. And they're good on cd.
ive seen them twice in the past few months. the first time i was driven to tears the second time i was on the brink. they are so amazing. and after i met justins it made me appreciate him and the band that much more. hes an amazing human being.

"They actually knelt down and prayed for me"
Not that that should matter with his musical ability, but he has truly quit the drugs he was on...
