The way everything looked so lifelike with him hiding in the haystacks to climbing the structures, etc. But it got repetitive really fast and I didn’t really understand the whole Desmond story. So I was kinda hesitant to play the second game. But I did and was blown away by how much they upgraded everything. I loved that we can now swim. I also loved it the best because of the amazing job they did to have us connect with Ezio, I mean we get to meet him at birth for crying out loud. With Altair I just did’t care about him. And not to mention we get two more games with Ezio as he gets older and more veteran. That’s why I view Ezio as the OG assassin of this franchise.

That is because you probably played the OG Xbox 360 or PS3 version. I think that Ubisoft didn’t have the time to put the 2 sequences in there before the game released. It was later released as dlc though. I ended up getting the OG version because I was unaware that the game was in the Ezio Collection and I was new to the series.
