    Thank you for doing the tutorial & putting yourselves out there for the every day person. I enjoy anything that helps me to learn & much of my stuff goes to family/friends or is scaled down to doll size (14.5 in - 18 in). Since I suffer chronic insomnia, it's better to keep myself busy.

    I love the simplicity of this, I like to use SS wire & this technique I end up using just the amount of wire that I need. The recording went out of focus a few times, but I was able to keep up. Thank you 🙏🏼🌺

    Head pins in place of wire would be an alternative. I don't own a lot of wire, but I have head pins. I will try this, they are beautiful. :)

    • @JewellersAcademy
      @JewellersAcademy  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Isabelle Kulow Thanks Isabelle - great idea! If you have some long headpins and cut the end off then they should work well (as long as they are not too thin). Thanks for sharing :-)

    These are beautiful. Don't you think the bottom half loops would lay better if the loop was turned sideways? That way they don't stick out on the side of the finger. Thanks

    Hi there, thank you so much for inspiring always!! quick question, is it ok, to use 0.3MM wires instead of 0.4MM? and 1.0MM instead of 0.8MM?

    Have you worked with stainless steel before? I'm allergic to every metal besides that and so I'm attempting to make my own and I'm finding that it's a lot harder to work with than other metals. Any advice?

    • @JewellersAcademy
      @JewellersAcademy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Cassie, no I haven't worked with stainless steel, it is a very hard metal in comparison to the regular precious metals. I'd imagine it might be hard to hand make stainless steel jewellery, and that you might need to manufacture/buy in parts in order to make jewellery. Is this what you have found so far?

    nice idea!!! Could you wire wrap the shank of the ring? I would think it would be sturdier, as rings and bracelets take so much wear and tear.

    Great tutorial! I'm wondering if the gemstone part should be a little floppy? If you hold the ring from the base, the top flops down. I made a few with the same issue. Suggestions? Thanks!
