I think it would have been cool if you could talk to them and convince them to mend their ways. Maybe turn them in to a settler or get them to join the Minutemen.
@@todd.cannon You can make a deal with them in Fallout 76 and gain reputation their faction. They become friendly and you get to do a bunch of missions for them.
@@slimyhandsyo I'll find out sooner or later when I get around to playing 76. I was referring specifically to the raiders you find in FO4 grieving a fallen friend. It would have been great to be able to pass a series of increasingly difficult speech checks to convert them from a raider to a settler or maybe even an alternate companion.
