For the first time in my life I had major problems with my right sciatic nerve. It go so bad I could not walk more than ten feet. It final got under control ofter two months of physical therapy. It also helped the I switched to a better office chair. Thank you for sharing. I feel we are in this together.
I also teacher geometry. The things that works for me are a combination of tools. I use Pear Deak and Jamboard for instruction. I can have the Jamboard ready before class. Each slide has a different geometry problem which I attach using my Mac.
I also us Goodnotes when I am introducing a new topic. At the same time students are filling in information using a prepare worksheet using Kami. I use Kami for all their assignments. I can see what each student is doing while they are working. I plan on using many of these tools when our school goes back to in-person instruction. The other things I use are Desmos Activities, IXL and Kahoot.

This video was so helpful for me to hear! Seriously, our hybrid schedule starting in January sounds the same. Thanks for the encouraging words, it’s been a ROUGH semester for everyone. We can get through this!
And same with the iPad. That’s how I teach and with the app explain everything and I’m sooo worried about presenting that in the classroom, especially with geometry! We shall see!

Omg yes! Every day that we were in hybrid I would try to use the faculty bathroom, and have to wait because it smelled so bad. Every. Single. Day.
