This update saved my M1 Ipad. I mistakenly bought the base 12.9” model and been debating on getting rid of it for more storage. Now that we can work off an external drive for 4k videos there is truly no need 🙌🏼

can you do a detailed video about editing from external disk ? To se the real speed with effects, if there is any limitation to how many tracks we can use etc.... its very crucial .

No, an app plugin you have or get you can integrate into lumafusion. Which is better imo. There’s a bunch of apps you can look for now as well on the app store to see which has the best denoiser. Then add that to Lumafusion when the build is public. Keep in mind that the app has to be AUV3 supportive.

Lumafusion on my Apple iPad does not show the external file. Does show the drive. External file does show on the iPads file. There are no icons at the bottom of Lumafusion even though the file drive is plugged in and under preferences I have switched on the external file. Do you have any thoughts on why it does not show.
So I’m going to ask a newbie question. What good does it do me to have 6 lines of video, when only one plays (if they are stacked one on top of the other). I’m still trying to wrap my head around this as a “benefit”. Thanks!!
You can always turn tracks off. You may also want to rescale your six videos and create a screen similar to how a Zoom meeting looks. Each video would be on its own track but you would need to scale them down to be able to see each video playing at the same time.
So still no clip synchronization through audio? Or did I miss it? My one pet peeve when synchronizing clips by their waveforms is that I need to really zoom in to view those waveforms and on every micro adjustment the interface scrolls all the way to the end of the clip 🤦🏻♂

I wonder if a plug-in for dead pixels exists? I have one on my camera in an annoying spot and davinci takes care of it no problem. Can’t seem to do anything in luma tho.

Does the external drive editing work just like internal? Are you able to load multiple clips. I think lumafusion allows 6 clips on timeline. But you only loaded 1. And other videos I have seen here also just load 1. Is there a reason why?
You can open your folder with 15 clips or the amount you have, in the ssd disk. Select all and import all to the timeline without any being loaded and saved on the ipad. I might have a full video on editing from external drive coming.

for some reason, since i use a Galaxy s21 ultra there is nothing i can do to get the same good quality out of lumafusion as when i used my oneplus 7 pro and also my oneplus nord te record. when directly uploading from the phone it's way better so the problem is not in the phone's camera... it's not broken or anything. can you please tell me what the problem could be ?

No new Video Filters like LightFlashing or Disturb Effects :( im disappointed, dont need all of the new features... Some Audio Presets for Speaking were nice too, but no, nothing of that... whatever Luma Fusion still the best.

Multicam editing with audio sync will be available sometime later this year hopefully.
