Brother you've captured my entire childhood in this documentary, and my eyes welled up a few times; I'm not going to lie. This was one of the most well put together video documentaries I've seen in TH-cam, and I truly loved it. Cheers my friend, you've completed your Opus🍻🤘🏼
Truly humbled brother 🍻 You get pinned because this comment is one of the best and the true meaning of why I make videos like this. Nostalgia is very powerful, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Not going to lie either, I had tears in my eyes, at times, while watching tonight too 👊🤘
@@FanZceneVids the music alone is enough to make you reminisce, but those montages were the icing on the cake! I would have shed a tear or two watching it from your perspective too, it's obviously taken countless hours of work to put together! Here's to the next one!
@@WrestlingWithHorror420 Countless hours and loss of sleep, but totally worth it. Heck yeah, as daunting of a task it was to make this, I definitely want to make more.
The year of '89 was when my parents started taking me to the theater and it is some of my fav memories. Batman was one of them we went and saw that year. I completely feel you.
I just noticed the GhostPopper behind Tom and it blew my f-ing mind! I used to have that and totally forgot it existed!!! I used to love that thing. Ghostbusters nerf gun!
Solid work! Definitely encapsulates the impact of the 80s and the kind of creative risks they made is what needs to make a resurgence in American culture

I love the 80s too. Nothing better than John carpenter in the 80s. Hey and let's not forget about B movies. Transformers 86 is coming back to the cinema for one day.
Return of the Jedi never gets old! Hahaha love it! My favorite film! Horror, though, is my favorite genre, especially in the 80s. I am horror obsessed. I buy Shout! Factory, Blue Underground, Synapse, Arrow Video blu-rays like they are going out of style. What a god-send those companies have been.
Funny “Tron” was made because kids already played too many video games in 1982. Flash forward 40 years. I totally agree with Robert and Robb, the 80’s had very original story lines while often not the best, films like “Hamburger: The Motion Picture” would never get past the script stage these days
G’day from Down Under, Wow, what a great doco! Nice to see a bunch of guys coming together to express their love for the decade that truly matters. Awesome stuff! Keep up the good work. Stay Gold, Australia's Retro Man.
Appreciate it, thank you! The 80s is by far the best decade ever, and we just wanted to express our love for there great movies and the time. Stay gold too 🤘
Totally ...Awesome... 😎 The 80s are my happy place. Fire up the Delorean and go back weekly... Those who didn't grow up in them will never truly know the joys. But seeing our Amazing movies they can have a glimpse of just how good it was.
I don't think movies were less political in the 80's. I just think that it's more in your face now. It was much more subtle in the 80's. Compare John Carpenter's They Live to the Black Christmas remake. John new how to make a movie about reaganomics while still making the movie fun. Now, directors don't seem to know how to make a movie meaningful AND entertaining. That's why 80's movies are better
Aside from the movies being awesome, I remember Tuesday dollar days at the United Artist theatres. Was this a thing in your part of the country? I remember seeing Breakfast Club, Rambo 3, and Terminator 2 for a buck. Also, there were other theatres where you could watch a great movie for cheap after its initial release (about 2-3 months later). I saw Pee-Wee's Big Adventure for $1.49 this way and there were two other movies I can't remember thrown in for good measure. Yeah, it was a blast!
Hands Down 🙌 The 80s and 90s hat a great Movie Soundtrack and was a Great Time for us 😎🖖 We Grow up with Awsome movies like Rambo, Back to the Future , The Thing, They Live, Fright Night, The Lost Boys, Scream, From Dusk Till Dawn, Rocky, Gremlins, Ghostbusters, Robocop, Big Trouble in little China, Critters and many more 🔥🔥🔥 You don't get this Feeling nowadays with all that Woke BS and they are making way too much Movies that i don't really like and don't really wanna watch 🤦♂️ Nostalgia it's not a Bad thing if you ask me and as long as we can Collecting Movies what we love and having a Great Time on Physical Media we are happy 🤗 What a Great Documentary about that Time Thanks 💯👍 Physical Media4Life Folks 💿📼📀
