How are you?
I decided to share with you my Foods and Packaging insert I use as a sketch/notebook of sorts. I love drawing food, but I also admire food packaging a lot! I had started to note down here and there some of the packaging I've seen, that I've found intriguing. But recently I've tried to take more pictures and draw them. Drawing things in my notebook, makes me stop and take the time to look at an object carefully and take in all the details. I also ask myself questions of why does that design work and how can I incorporate that into my own designs.
Last year I've even started to look at designs that I don't normally care for. Like old chinese medicine bottles or western food packaging. Because there's a reason why they exist, and the duality of it is something that should be noted, and the intentions examined. So I can better understand the design choice. Anyway, I'm chattering into my mind bog haha.
